The place is very nice and it was spotless. I only stayed one night but I wish I would had more time to enjoy the house. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet place to stay

Very clean, quiet and air condionning functioning well. We had missed an email with the instructions to enter. The property manager was very helpful and available for our questions througout the week.

Quiet and comfortable

Beautiful period home in quiet suburban neighborhood. Spacious shared kitchen, dining, living and bathrooms all beautifully decorated and you meet interesting people. Air conditioning very efficient and beds very comfortable. Kitchen has all equipment and washer and dryer included. Host very helpful with luggage storage and extending stay.

Awesome Property and Professional Host

I have been staying at The Perthshire House for a week and have been very impressed by the beautiful interior design and facilities, including the kitchen with all modern conveniences and cooking equipment, the bathrooms with fans, high quality supplies, and the bedrooms with high thread-count sheets, etc. The air-conditioning works very well and small number of guests mean you usually have the shared spaces to yourself. Charles, the host has been very friendly, helpful and accommodating of my needs to extend my stay, ensuring that my luggage was transferred between rooms.

Great First Time in Boston!

This was my first time in Boston, coming in for a concert at Fenway (which was only 15 mins away), and this was a great place to stay within budget! I would only recommend if you have a car, we had one and drove into the city and surrounding areas each day. There isn’t a train stop super close, it’s a mile+ away. The place was extremely cute, cozy, and had everything we needed! The shared bathroom was way better than expected. The bathroom was completely remodeled from the original pictures and really nice, clean, and we had no issues needing to use it when someone else was. The host was great and brought a fan for us when I requested immediately! He was very attentive and fast to respond. The shared kitchen was a nice perk as well and had everything you would need. I would 100% recommend and would stay here again :)

Our weekend in Boston here was incredible! The bed in our room was genuinely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the bathrooms are renovated with amenities provided! The kitchen was stocked with all my coffee needs! What a special house to stay in!!

Oh my gosh, it was perfect! I loved that I got slippers and the home was so welcoming. Exceptionally clean with plenty of common space. I loved the kitchen amenities like kettle for hot water and hot plenty of fridge space. The bed was also so comfortable. Thank you so much!

Short stay

We stayed on the third floor for one night as we were needing a place to stay before flying out of Logan. The location was nice and there was a great coffee shop down the hill – walking distance. Only about 20 minutes from the airport. We took a walk in the evening and it was very pleasant. Clean room. Did not use shower in shared bath but looked clean.

Charming New England

Quaint 3 story Home with multiple private rooms. Check-in communication was crystal clear... keys & codes like a treasure huntClean, charming space inside & out including bathroom, kitchen & portch. Neighborhood is sweet & lovely. Teresa's taqueria neerby kept me satiated & i highly recommend. Overall very pleased esp for the price & location.

The house was very nice and clean ! The only issue was our room was very hot, it was around 80 degrees for our trip and didn’t feel like we had any AC. Charles was very responsive though when we had an issue of not enough towels and we were able to keep our luggage there earlier than check in.

Listing information lacks detail

While the property was nice enough and pretty much as described it's missing a few specifics that could be crucial to some guests. The check in instructions were very complicated to follow as we were checking in at 11 p.m. and trying to read on an IPhone. The property description does not describe how many stairs need to be climbed (while carrying luggage)--roughly from the street to the 3rd story of the building, and the narrow stairs lacked handrails. In addition, the bed was made with red satin sheets--not a choice most guests would be expecting or comfortable with.

Excellent experience

I stayed with my husband and my 15-month-old baby at the Perthshire house for over a month, and we had a great experience. The location is great, the house is lovely and clean, and Charles is an excellent host. The house has everything you need for a short or long stay. Charles is always available and ready to help at all times. We felt at home in the Perthshire house and would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Boston.
