Beautiful location, a special place to stay

This was our first stay in this lovely cottage. Perfectly positioned for privacy and getting away from it all but only a few minutes drive from all the amenities you need. Although the cottage is in the woods you do not feel enclosed, the owners have created an oasis of peace with lovely views and a comfortable home. Highly recommend this lovely cottage in a beautiful area.

The location is realy quite, remote, for nature lovers. Everything you need is in the house. Kitchen is well equiped. Fridge is limited in size and cooling capacity, but there is a back up in the fence, that works OK. Lucca is about 30 minutes drive. Very good supermarket Esselunga about half the distance, offers high quality food.

Lovely Home from Home Cottage

The house is lovely and everything to could possibly need is available in the cottage. Short drive to local shops where you can buy local produce. All in all a great holiday. The historic city of Lucca is a 20 minute drive where you can enjoy a walk along the city wall.

un petit coin de paradis

Charmante petite maison, parfaite pour une famille de 4 personnes avec le charme de l'ancien et le confort moderne. Le mobilier est solide et de qualité, on s'y sent comme chez soi, rien d'artificiel, parfaite pour se poser et profiter de la nature environnante boisé et sauvage. La maison est accessible par une petite route sinueuse au calme. Super pour les amoureux de la nature. Je vous conseille la plage ombragée "Miami beach" (GPS: 44.009145, 10.613554) sur la rivière la Lima, à 20 minute de la maison en voiture pour se rafraîchir lors des journée chaude de l'été, baignade en rivière pas dangereuse pour le sgrands comme les petits. Dans cette région on peut profiter à la fois de la mer et de la montage, il y a le choix (1h de la mer, et à proximité des Alpes Apuanes).

Liebevoll renoviertes Häuschen in der Natur

Mit viel Liebe und Geschmack wurde das Haus im Wald renoviert. Alte Terrassen wurde frei gemacht und bieten einen traumhaften Blick an. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Serpentinstraße gehört für diesen Teil der Toscana dazu.

Charming cottage set in woods in the mountains

We found this typical Tuscan cottage in a stunning setting in the woods in the mountains, it is secluded but with civilisation less than 2 miles away down a fairly narrow windy road. We found everything we needed in the cottage, it has been tastefully furnished and was spotlessly clean. We found the lady who had the key delightful, and we're confident that if we had had a problem she would have helped us. The owner answered all our queries before we arrived and we found the cottage exactly as it was described. We would recommend the property to a friend if they wanted to relax in a quiet tranquil setting enjoying the wildlife and walking in the woods, also as a base for exploring the area. There is a good range of local shops 4 miles away and a little further away an excellent supermarket Esselunga, the fresh fruit and vegetables and the cooked chicken were really good. We found La Terrasse restaurant at the roundabout, four miles from the cottage suited us very well with simple traditional Italian food and reasonable wine, so went there most evenings. Thank you for a lovely Tuscan experience.
