"This bed and breakfast is wonderful. Beautiful room by the river and absolutely beautiful setting. Perfect breakfast brought to the room every day, and the hostess was very, very nice. Kitchenette had all the things you would need, and the hostess gave us tea, coffee, milk, butter, and a bottle of hard cider and wine, for free, in our mini fridge for us to use. Very close to Giverny and Monet's house and a good base for exploring Normandy."

"Lovely host (owner?) welcomed us. Little english but good use of translation app. Small, quiet property with a nice view over the valley. Room was new and very well done and equipped with everything one would need. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms are laid out such that other guests walk past your patio and doors which is probably unavoidable but obviously has an impact on privacy. The grounds are only partially complete but it really isn't an issue. I suppose the oddest issue was a 15 euro charge per person to use the pool. Given that you're paying $300/night for a relatively modest property it seems like an entirely unnecessary surcharge."

"This accommodation was outstanding. The welcome was friendly and welcoming throughout. The interior decoration is beautiful and we had a wonderful view from our window. The restaurants food was delicious. It is a quaint little village well worth the visit and wr will certainly come again."

"What a charming hotel. The amenities were top notch and the view absolutely stunning. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. The air conditioner wasn’t great, and that’s something I find to be a necessity when traveling, but thankfully I’d brought a mini fan, so it worked out well enough. The WiFi was terrible, but it seemed to be down throughout the region, so there was nothing to be done. (My husband works when we travel, so a strong internet connection really is a necessity. We used our mobile hotspot and made due.) Overall the whole experience was clean, charming, and absolutely unbeatable in terms of amenities and the view. Would absolutely stay again."

"What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. If you need help with lining up transportation to and from the chateau, be sure to be in contact with him well in advance. He helped us contact a driving service when taxis were not available. If I could leave a higher rating for them I would, and I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to France. What a joy!"
