This is an older property that has been renovated. From the outside, at a glance, you could miss this truly charming gem. I’ve visited the area for over 20 yrs and I never knew this was here. The room was spotless. Had all amenities that we needed (coffee maker & fridge). Bed was super comfy. Decor was retro funky and such a pleasant surprise. We even had a lava lamp! Owner was super laid back and easy to work with. Property is on the edge of one of the lakes that has been drained for awhile, but we already knew that. It did not detract from the experience. Lots of amenities outside too, as well as more quirky surprises. A Martian at the front door and Sasquatch around a corner in the yard! This place was so lovely and we had a fantastic weekend. Being able to bring my fur baby was a huge plus too. We will definitely plan to return to this little retro gem!
