"AC was loud and took longer to cool. Also next door they have Bar which was quite active and noisy, seems like once bar closes at 2 am all were out in parking lot and partying outside with loud music. Was not able to sleep after 2 am due to outside noise. "

"Lots of good aspects to this hotel, such as the friendly staff, good tasting breakfast, the cleanliness of the rooms and the price. However, our particular room had a very uncomfortable mattress—way too soft. If you are someone that wants extra soft, it will be good for you. We were on the 3rd floor and there was a continuous hum coming from the ceiling (maybe from the HVAC). We didn’t notice it until the tv was off late at night, but it was audible and strong enough that you could feel the ceiling vibrating. The tv remote only turned on the tv and changed the volume. So we were limited to the current channel. Luckily we were up for Friends reruns on TBS. Finally, note that there is no swimming pool."

"The room we were placed in was not the room in the photo when I booked. We were placed on the 2nd floor, but there are no elevators, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. I am not handicapped, but did have a knee replacement, and need the other knee replaced, so walking up stairs with luggage was not super easy either. The bathroom was incredibly small, and the tile around the edges of the floor did not appear to have ever been cleaned. The shower was slippery, and the shower curtain was stained. The TV was tiny and did not get any 'premium' channels, as the website stated. The channels that did come in were fuzzy. The pillows were flat and small. Thankfully, we were able to get additional pillows from the front desk, and those were better. The breakfast area was very small; there was no fruit, but they did have a waffle maker. I almost added some milk to my coffee, good thing I thought to smell it first. We did not bother to eat breakfast on the 2nd day, but on the 3rd morning, ants were crawling all over the counter. I let the clerk know, so he came out with a towel and wiped the counter, just up to the toaster and waffle maker. Within minutes, the ants came back. We were charged a substantial amount for a small, subpar room. I really wish I had booked at ANY of the other 3-4 hotels that had the same price. I assure you, if the pictures had been of the room we were given, I would NOT have booked this location at the price I was charged!"

"Cozy hotel. Cozy bar. We sat and talked with bartendeer Jeremy for hours. Totally enjoyed the time. Accomodations were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was hot and well stocked. We would definitely stay again should we pass through Bloomington. Great pool and hot tub too! Overall very well maintained facility."

2/10 Terrible

"The checkin was fine. The person at the desk found the reservation, confirmed it was a two queen suite and that it was book through expedia not them and any concerns questions about charges etc should go to expedia. The room was musty when we enters, we turned on the air hoping it would get better. It was late and the the room was slow to cool. As I laid down I assumed the noise I heard was the room ac. It was not our room unit, all night we heard the ac unit running outside. our bedroom widow. The unit outside the window was very close, very tall and very wide. There were only a few inches on the right side where I could see around it. It was over 5 ft high because I could not see over it. All night long I could hear the motor and fan running. At six am I finally go about 2 hrs of sleep. I went to speak to the staff before checkout and waited and waited for someone to come. I finally saw someone walk into and office and aksed and only then did someone come to the desk. I told them about the night and that I would have expected them to dislose the situation with the view and noise before renting the room. I was told again the reservation was done through expedia and any concerns should be addresse through them. I have frequently stayed at Holiday Inns in the area and have never had an issue like this in the past."
