The property is undergoing renovations, however, that did not affect our stay. It was a lovely stay right across from Birch Bay. Nicely appointed rooms with everything you need to create a meal. Meticulously clean. Beds are a little soft, but all was nice overall. Nice little town.

Everything about this stay was great. The price I considered reasonable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and welcoming. My problem is that my elderly relatives, who also had reservations, were told 2 days prior to their stay that they no longer had a reservation as “the owners wanted to stay” in those same rooms. When I was checking out I asked about this and if my reservation could have been cancelled in similar fashion and was told that it could have been. So why would I risk a stay here again in the future?

Don’t sell to me on vacation

Check-in time is 4pm. The room wasn’t ready until 5:30. You think they could get the room ready considering checkout time is 10:00am. The room was comfortable. It was tiring getting pressure to sign up for the timeshare sales pitch. I wish their cleaning team was as well staffed as their sales team.

Nice location. Staff is very immature, untrained, careless. thought it was a hotel, it was a timeshare - had to go to presentation - wasted everyone's time. Staff was clueless.Internet woudln't work and wanted $15.

I like the location close to the beach and restaurant. I didn’t like the bed and small space. I book for king size bed ahead of time for my husband & kids, and when I check in they gave me a queen bed. It was unfair to pay for king size and don’t give a discount. And I didn’t even get notified that the king size room was not available. We didn’t sleep well It was a squeaky bed and broken. But good thing they were able fix it next day. They also didn’t clean the room well my husband found a soap or toy under the couch. Room for improvement for their customer service.

Glorified cheap apartment

With the reviews that I read prior to booking, I expected this place to be cleaner. We are in the middle of a remodel and I just wanted a place that I could soak in a tub and relax. The tub was not clean enough to soak in. I may have missed it in the listing but this place wants to sell you a time share and they are persistent in trying to find a way to get you to listen to their sales pitch. The walls are thin and the people we had on the floor above us had children that would run back and forth from early morning until late at night. Then you have the topper of listing to people yelling at their kids. Not a place to go to for relaxation.

The staff were amazing and the hotel was clean and comfortable despite the renovations in progress. Only issue was a we had a little bit of a hard time finding good places to eat nearby. Nothing for breakfast places and all the nearby restaurants close really early, maybe because it was off season, might be better in the summer
