Hotel is massively dated and the room was just poor , very old n stunk of damp. The bed was so old springs were sticking up , outside of the room the floors creaked so badly that every time someone walked past even quietly it made a racket. The windows were so filthy outside and inside you could barely see out of them.
God awful!
Parking shockingly bad (car was damaged)
Reception had no interest in my report of room being filthy and sheets had dried blood stains and wouldn’t change.
Staff were great. Mix up with room, trays and bin bags in the corridor over night. Thin walls could here the people next door talking. Great bathroom soap dispenser was over the bath and no addition soap provided. The bed was not great to sleep on, got a good view of scaffolding, bar was good, restaurant was nice. Not a bad hotel just not upto date but still enjoyed our stay with a really short 2 minute walk to the beach and attractions
For the money we paid I don’t think it was worth it, it’s a very tired and old hotel. The pictures online do not reflect the room we had. It smelt of stale smoke and didn’t look like it had had a proper clean in a while. The bedding however was clean but the surfaces and bathroom were not. However I can not fault the staff on the desk, they were lovely and very helpful!
After checking in was given key to room
Only to get ther not be cleaned so reported it to reception
When back to our room later on and beds been done but left with no clean Towal’s etc
Also could not open window due to scaffolding been up

Flying visit
One night stay so just needed a roof over my head, nice view of brickwork from my window. Not able to leave my bag in a secure place before check in which was unfortunate
Absolutely the worse hotel and especially for the amount of money they charge. To be honest we checked in and took one look at our room and then we checked out again and stayed in another hotel. The room was very very basic no extra pillows, the bedding was thin as hell. The bed its self was on wheels with a very dirty thin mattress. The staff was no help at all and their attitude stinks. I could go on and on
Hotel is very dated! Whilst quite clean the building is very run down! Staff not polite on desk, paid for a sea view with scaffolding all over the windows, bathroom was the only okay part of the room thought the price I paid for the room was ridiculous as it was so dated and cold and the bed was awfully uncomfortable
Room stunk of urine . window would not close at all broken .. no toilet roll soap until I went to complain at reception. No Shampoo or wash toiletries supplied at all even after asking it’s not policy to have in rooms . Dirty tea cup .

Get what you pay for to I guess
Room was very small and barely any room to move around. Wardrobe half blocked bathroom door. The bed was comfy though. Can’t open any windows and room was a sweat box at times. Parking is advertised as free but isn’t and it was luck alone that got me a space and even then I had cars block me in from all directions for two days, couldn’t get to my car.

The property was a little out dated but this was not a problem.
Arrived at the Metropole Hotel in Blackpool 1st August 2021. No parking for disabled guests, told £5.00 to use their car park (that was full) Arrogant ignorant receptionist never even gave us a greeting. Room was appalling, bed had black hairs on sheets, toilet seat was hanging off. Flies and blue bottles on the window ledge. Dust and dirt on furniture, receipts and copper change in drawers and on side of window from previous guests. No spoon for making tea and coffee, had to stir with tooth brush head. £47.00 a night for this room, it was really not worth that at all. Tatty 1970s furniture in the room and smelt damp and musty at the back of the hotel. Really not worth the money and service from staff was not up to standard at all.
The hotel is a beautiful building on the promenade in a fabulous location and that’s where the positive ends! In steps Britannia hotels chain! Staff on reception were struggling due to weight of guests a bar from the 1980s and random laminated pictures of food on the walls. The room was big but the bed was uncomfortable only 2 pillows the tv was fixed to the wall badly so you cant see it properly while in bed and the balcony’s are sealed and the sea view was obscured by scaffolding that nobody worked on for the 5 nights I was there. The room was not cleaned during our 5 night stay and nor were the bins emptied. Also no WiFi in the room and no breakfast included and this was all for over £600 for 5 nights! I would rather sleep on the streets next time!
