Sue and Jim were extremely helpful and polite, the room was spotless and was cleaned every morning, breakfast was amazing and the b&b was in a good location. Would definitely recommend it and return!
Lovely couple Kathy and Pete who went out of their way to make our stay was enjoyable and nothing was to much trouble. Lovely rooms and fabulous breakfast and very tastefully decorated. Many thanks and will stay again. Thanks Phil and B
Warm welcome and attentive hosts. Room compact but comfortable and clean. Great breakfast choice. Quiet location but close to tram stop. Free off road parking and although we were able to park close by in a nearby street upon arrival in high season/at weekends this may be an issue (we stayed Sunday to Tuesday).
A lovely b&b perfect for our 2 night stay just far enough out of the hustle & bustle but close enough to enjoy everything. We booked last minute as didn’t plan on visiting Blackpool and had the loft room which was very reasonably priced and had everything we needed . Breakfast was also very good . Really enjoyed our stay and would return

Beautiful short break
Such a lovely B&B full breakfast was to die for didnt need snything else to eat until tea time. The top floor room is lovely with en-suite shower room, really really nice. Parking was on the street loads of spaces outside, would go again definitely.
Our 5th Stay at North Crest was yet again wonderful and we are looking forward to our 6th visit in 6 weeks time. Sue and Jim are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, we stayed in 'The Nest' family room with our granddaughter and was a lovely size and homely. The breakfast was lovely and due to covid restrictions a time was given for breakfast and we ordered the day before so all went smoothly and everything was spotless and discinfected before and after..looking forward to our next visit.
Went to good old Blakie to celebrate our Pearl Wedding Anniversary. The weather was mixed but overall quite good. Hotel A1 on every level. Just one small minor, bathroom quite small would not suit very big people. Hosts excellent and managing to implement all government Covid-19 measures with ease.
We were absolutely bowled over by The North Crest, which is best described as “a little gem”. We received a warm welcome from Jim and were invited to enjoy Sue’s delicious home baking. The climb to the 2nd floor was well worth it, as the ‘Enchantment’ Room was just perfect. Everything was 4 star: tasteful Laura Ashley décor, quality furniture and soft furnishings, beautiful bed linen, complimentary water in the small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and sweets. The usual items were supplied (hairdryer, fluffy towels, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.) but unexpected extras included cotton wool and make-up remover wipes. As if all of this wasn’t enough, the full English breakfast, cooked by Sue and served by Jim was, in the words of Tina Turner, simply the best! Thank you, Sue and Jim, for making our 2 night stay so enjoyable.
Excellent and fresh breakfast and clean room. Location was great; tram, downtown and shoreline were near. And the service was friendly, they made you feel like home. Nothing bad to say about North Crest. I will use their services if I ever go back to Blackpool.
Really enjoyable weekend with fantastic hosts. From arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast filled us till tea time. Also the home made biscuits and scones were delicious.
Very tastefully decorated, bright and clean.
Charming and helpful owners.
Bedroom comfortable and clean; en-suite also recently redecorated and clean.
Good selection of cereals and very nicely cooked breakfast.
Outstanding value.
Strongly recommended, we will return ourselves.
This is a lovely little hotel just off of the North Prom. Spotlessly clean, really nicely turned out, great breakfast that kept us going all day and lovely staff who were very chatty and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and the only reason I wouldn't recommend it was to ensure I got a room!!! Superb!! Ideal for the Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride!
Many thanks
Nick & Chris :-)x
Hotel and hosts are great. Blackpool Town Council need to double the number of trams though - they used to be every 5 or 10 minutes, now it's 20 - 30 minutes and they are packed. The number 1 bus is very useful though. The hosts will direct you to a local newsagent where you can buy a one-day tram/ bus pass which is cheaper than buying on the tram. £3.50 adults, £2 children. Cheaper than two single journeys.
