What a gem just off the prom at Blackpool lovely hosts nice room big ,warm with a very comfy bed lined the teapot shaped kettle in the room
We could park right outside which was great
Would recommend as handy for the pleasure beach and a nice walk up the prom to the town centre
Hello, when we are coming the hotel, smell bad mould. Windows all room in the hotel has mould, just need really cleaning!
I'm pay with my bank card nearly £100.00 room number 8,but I and my partner had number 2. And hotels writing bed &breakfasts, but no had?!I'm no happy 😕
Definitely don't come back.
The welcome was amazing relaxed and inviting
Only thing was didn’t do breakfast might think about in future but would definitely stay again lovely couple
Nothing like the website photos,no breakfat or bar like says, wanted payment before seeing the room, then when entering the room,tv didnt work, toilet seat broken, shower was just a dribble..then saw the note to run the hot tap in sink to get hot water, still only a dribble, view was of other back yards full of rubbish bags broken fences, disgusting really...asked fir my money back totally refused..£95 for nothing.
Warm and helpful welcome from the friendly owners. Room was a generous size, with a comfortable four poster bed. Location was great for access to the sea front and local transport. We would happily stay there in the future.
Lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful :) we arrived at lunchtime and check in wasn’t while 4pm so we used a 24hr car park a few streets away but parking was offered at check in. Very tidy and clean, would definitely recommend :)
Couldnt fault it atall phil and tatum are amazing, went for my girlfriends birthday had the paris room with four poster bed. Called in a day before with some items for the room to be decorated before i arrived with my girlfriend and they did an amazing job for me. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants nice comfy bed with excellent service.
Nice guest house and nothing is too much trouble for the owners who are both very friendly. Room was perfectly acceptable and bed very comfy. One of the most amazing layouts for breakfast ive ever seen with loads of fresh fruit.
Me and my friend came to stay with our 3 children for the night. Absolutely fantastic service, very welcoming and clean! Room was comfy, clean and had all the amenities for us to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely return to Holmlea!
This was our 2nd year at this hotel and yet again it didn't disappoint. Within easy reach of most attractions and with very friendly and accommodating hosts. It's not the most luxurious hotel in Blackpool but it makes up with charm and character and I would recommend to anyone.
The shower wasn't working and hose was broke. Mentioned this 9.pm and it was fixed straight away. Brilliant service. Carried bags although only had few carrier bags will definitely go back again. . Even had pic taken by the car
When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by the smell of old bacon fat, not a good start. We were shown up to our room, which was at the very top of the hotel, several flights of stairs later we walked into the room and were instantly disappointed! We had booked a "Luxury Double Room", the pictures we saw when booking did not show that the 4 poster bed was actually a normal bed with attachments to make it look like a 4 poster and had cheap voile nets on as the "drapes". The furniture in the room was mismatched and old, the drawers were musty smelling! The bed was clean and fresh and very comfortable. The following morning we were woken at 8am by the fire alarm, which was not an issue, good safe practices, however, we were the only guests that left the building, there was no organisation to make sure everyone was ok, we stood outside for 10 mins but just went back inside when there was no communication from the hosts.
The shower pressure was very weak, and once in there the water ran cold then stopped completely, I went, dripping wet, down the several flights of stairs to report that I was unable to complete my shower, the host came up to the room, looked at the shower and said "Yep, its not working, I'll have to call a plumber", that was it...he left the room....I'm standing there with shampoo in my hair unable to rinse it out, my partner was unable to shower at all! I wish I had asked for a refund. Anniversary break ruined. Very poor!!!!
