Great Staff, Interesting old building. Great location
Staff were fine. Restaurant food was good as was continental breakfast
Our room was disappointing. Water damaged ceiling not repaired, carpet dreadful, needed decorating. Bathroom fittings OK but surrounds/tiling needed replacing
comfortable room, slightly aged room with cracking paint, but well set out and comfy with nice finishes with cushions etc.
Breakfast was a set continental - No choices, which let it down.

The staff were very accommodating. A bit noisy for us but we go to bed early and bar still functioning
Stayed here for one night and booked the superior king room. Room was nice size and clean. Was a little noisy on the evening as below our window is the outside seating area for the bar. Breakfast following morning was very nice .
Close to Solihull and motorway across road train station and shops nothing bad to say

Stayed one night as had a family party nearby . The room and staff where lovely . Our room was above the bar . When we arrived back at 11pm it was very noisy . 12.30 we complained as people were gathering outside and there was still a lot of noise downstairs. They eventually moved on
The hotel is very nice and the room was large with quality linen, towels, toiletries etc…
However, the hotel is an old building and it shows in some places for example the windows in bedroom. We had no hot water in the morning due to an issue with one of the boilers which we were told is old.
It is a lovely place to stay but needs a refurb in places.

The room had so much potential, but it was needed some TLC, as did the public hallways. The shower was terrible water pressure and the carpets and upholstery all needed a good steam clean.
