This place was fantastic. Huge rooms, clean, nice views and close to bus stops, train stops, and a pharmacy. The staff was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon.

Room was spotless and a good size. Plenty of thoughtful touches like an umbrella, needle and thread etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated but they were classy and this was quite quaint and nice. Enjoyed my stay!!

Fantastic stay

Fantastic hotel. Reception staff very friendly. Room was decent sized with great bathroom and welcome letter. Fan in the room was very welcome. Location is good near high st, tourist attractions and tram stop to take you to the rail station

The personnel was extremely kind and available to answer any doubt I had. The ladies at the reception were always smiling. The position was great, 10 minutes away from the central station by bus or tram (always on time and frequently). Moreover, the beautiful Sansoucci Park was around the corner.

Charming, friendly and well located!

The staff are amazing! I almost don’t want to write this and create unrealistic expectations… but we had the best two nights here. Almost no check in.. just welcome and have a good stay, clean, warm rooms.. with tons of atmosphere and character.. and then when I mentioned my birthday.. a bottle of Prosecco. So friendly and chill. Perfect location on quiet square… parking on the block. Thank you… for being so friendly and making my birthday so special.

Despite being dated and well used the hotel is clean and staff very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location for exploring the palaces/grounds as well as the city. All are walkable over cobblestones. Beds are comfy, rugs should be replaced. It’s an old building so it’s not perfect.We were given a corner room over the square, it was quite spacial . Despite being on the public street we had no problem with noise/sleeping. They provided earplugs if needed, we did not. Be sure to go into hotel before parking in garage , they have a discount pass you can use.

Perfect spot for exploring both Berlin and Potsdam

Friendly and helpful reception staff; room was spacious and excellent. It was right next to the beautiful Potsdam Altstadt and had a lively restaurant and shopping scene. It was also next to the lovely Sansouci imperial park grounds, which was great for walking and running and sightseeing along the run. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel

Nicely located hotel. The 4 stars are minor stars, as the hotel in many ways are a kind of time capsule. Never the less, the price/quality balance is good, and I will not hesitate to stay again. Business traveler should be aware breakfast only starts at 07:00

Das war das furchtbarste Hotelzimmer, in dem ich je wohnen musste. Ich hatte ein sogenanntes Standard-Einzelzimmer. Die richtige Bezeichnung wäre Abstellkammer. Der Raum war klein, abgewohnt und dreckig. Deutliche große Flecken auf dem Teppich, abgeschrammte Tapete, Abplatzer in der Keramik des Waschbeckens, gesprungene Fliesen… und das zu einem fürstlichen Preis. Der Blick auf die Wand des Nachbarhauses und den Dreck der Straße entschädigt nicht, ebensowenig das Frühstück. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig und in keinster Weise zeitgemäß. Simpelste Standards wie Beschriftungen oder Angaben von Allergenen wurden vernachlässigt. Einfachste Standards wie ein eingedeckter Tisch oder das Servieren von Kaffee oder Tee am Tisch - in diesem Hotel nicht zu haben. Das Angebot war sehr beachränkt. Z.B. Müsli? Eine Sorte, na klar! Hafermilch? Nicht daran zu denken. Ein Hostel kann so arbeiten, ein Hotel im Herzen einer Landeshauptstadt? Ich hatte etwas anderes erwartet, etwas ganz anderes. Ich kann vom Besuch in diesem Haus nur abraten. Ausser der zentralen Lage hat es nicht viel zu bieten.

Großes Doppelzimmer mit super Blick auf den Luisenplatz und das Brandenburger Tor. Leider keine Klimaanlage, so dass die Nacht über die Balkontür offen war... die reduzierte Parkkarte für die Tiefgarage sollte man sich auch gönnen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig.

The room was extremely small and uncomfortably hot. The facilities are very outdated and in need of renovation. Considering the price, the overall experience was poor and certainly not good value for money. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
