My second stay at Tokyo Starfish. I love this place, so comfortable and great location. This trip was all about family. We made meals and just hung out enjoying seeing each other and walking around Bend!
It was very clean and conferrable. Location was great walkable to just about everything. For the couple very small issues that came up the property owner replied very quickly and were able to address the issues.
It was a great stay, great location and a perfect get away with family to visit our father. Close to just about everything . Thank you Jason for this great stay we had at your place! We will be back for sure.
Jason was a great host and made our visit extremely easy. The place was clean and has a great layout for 2-3 guests. Amazing location and access to lots of food options (food trucks, restaurants, bars, and cafes). Beds were comfortable. Only issue I'd raise is that the streetside bedroom is a bit loud with street activity at night.
The is an awesome location to stay for a family or group or just a couple wanting to be in the center. We could walk to all of the local spots and set us up as a great headquarters for our daily adventures. Dog friendly which was a plus for us. AND when we realized we needed a late check out, the owner was incredibly accommodating. Even with another booking that night. No extra charge but we offered to get a jump start on the cleaning by stripping the beds. Definitely a 5 star gem!!
Cute, quirky place. Plenty of room. Great location. Food truck court right next door is awesome, but if you go to bed early, the outdoor speakers blasting Metallica until 1100 pm might be an issue. If the smell of weed doesn’t bother you, great place; we did have to air it out each evening, because it got REAL potent, but it didn’t deter us from staying there.
We arrived later than we planned but walked in to a welcoming environment. It felt like home and the location was wonderful, the furthest you had to walk was across the street or next door to several food trucks, the location was fantastic. We palan on going back several times. planned but
This property was the perfect basecamp for our Bend adventure micro-wedding! The venue housed the whole bridal party for four days, offered amazing access to delicious food, and was the perfect size for our reception.
The deck overlooking Podski was a highlight, which we loved decorating with string lights and burlap banners. We (my new husband and I) enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone needing a cozy apartment in a great location in Bend! Thank you!
It was very spacious, clean, comfortable and original. Loved the wood floor and mural in the entrance . The location is right in downtown: we had tons of towels and super comfy beds and toasty blankets; all essential were there too, like toilet paper, coffee filter, spices, soap, dish soap etc. The only not so perfect part was the toilet that needed a good handle wiggling to stop running and the kitchen could use a cooking tray, measuring cup and mixing bowl- I guess not many people stay here to bake. I will most likely be back!
I cannot stress enough how perfect the location is!! You can walk to Old Mill. You can walk to anything downtown. We even walked to Hideaway Tavern which is an incredible place to watch Sports!!! It was such a relief to be able to enjoy the patio and it being 420 friendly was a huge perk! My boyfriend brought his dog and the stairs were tricky but the dog is old and fat so I wouldn't expect anything else. It was a great location and we were very happy we chose to stay there! Highly recommend!
Jason provided a spacious and comfortable place to stay, right in the heart of Bend, OR.
The house is old with lots of old-world charm that you don't find in a modern house or hotel. Surprisingly the noise from the food truck court just below did not penetrate into the house much and we were able to relax and fall asleep just fine.
We loved the well-provisioned kitchen (as we cooked a bit) and the ability to watch live TV!
Perhaps the greatest thing about the house was the location. We were able to walk all around Bend from here, visiting coffeeshoppes, wineries and breweries. We even walked back from our concert across the river at Hayden Homes Amphitheatre, a 15 minute walk away.
Jason was friendly, welcoming and readily available by email during our stay.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We loved that this is right next door to excellent food trucks, the Podski bar, and local restaurants right in walking distance. This is a great and beautiful neighborhood.
Place was just as advertised, fantastic location with dedicated parking for 1 vehicle in the heart of Bend. Great overall stay, the place was in great shape and clean! Easy check out process as well, thanks Jason!
This place is so sweet and unique. Petfect lication for walking to amphitheater to see a concert. The convenience of being near so many food and shopping options and being able to walk to downtown is great. We definitely will be recommending to friends.
Great Location with food and beer next door and across the street Walking distance to both downtown and old mill district. Stayed two years in a row and love this place.
