Super nice staff even if we came really late due to snowstorm
A solid place to stay as it’s an easy walk to the Festival. Rooms are a bit spartan in the European tradition but well laid out. Fantastic breakfast (don’t let the carb heavy photos scare you off) and great wifi
Ibis Budget Bayreuth has a laid back atmosphere with a comfortable and architecturally beautiful open lounge, that includes a breakfast area, bar and reception desk. Service is just outstanding, including its incredibly rich breakfast. Its location is just priceless: just a few minutes walking to the the most touristic areas of the this beautiful city.
It's a budget hotel, so the rooms are small and basic, but clean. The staff were excellent and welcoming. The prices during the Festspiele are highly inflated, as would be expected, so my marking reflects the relative value for money for the room at a time of high demand.
We were staying for the Bayreuth opera festival. This hotel is very convenient being within a 15 minute walk of the Festspielhaus. It is 15 minutes walk into the town in the other direction. The hotel car park was easy to use and also very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, the staff very helpful and the hotel was spotless. We shall stay here again.

Very convenient for the Bayreuth Festival
The rooms are basic but reasonably spacious. There is a good size bed and a decent bathroom. Also air conditioning though this could have been a bit more powerful. Only slight downside was no clothes storage except 4 hangers.
The hotel is incredibly convenient both for the Hauptbahnhof and the Festspielhaus

This hotel is situated in an ideal location for Wagner ' opera viewers whereas the facility itself is not excellent without refrigerator, coffe -server or safety box in individual rooms. However, the front staff is kind and 24 hours available.
Ibis hotels are pretty much all the same. Spare, clean, social area. This is within a few minutes walk to the Festspielhaus, the Hbf, and a short walk to tourist Bayreuth. Air-conditioning which many Bayreuth hotels lack. At other hotels people are dependent on cabs or busses to get to and from hotels to the Festspielhaus which can be very slow and expensive as the cabs are metered and sit in traffic after the opera.
Overall very good.
Pro. Outstanding staff, exceptionally clean rooms, simple, functional. Bar is 24/7. Breakfast is good.
Con. Tiny rooms that can seem like cells, very noisy as room faces very busy street. Building backs up to rr tracks, so hard to escape noise. No drawers and two hooks for clothes.

If you want to stay in Bayreuth to see Bayreuther festspiel, this hotel is situated in an ideal location. 15
to 16 minutes walk can bring you to the festspieltheater. The facility of this hotel is not so excellent but just torelable without refrigerator, safety box, coffee server in individual guest rooms. Storage is extremely small. To offset some of these significant handicaps of the facikity, we have got hot water and cubic ice every morning and evening, which might not be an easy tasks. The front staff are kind and 24-hours available for those chores. Overall I can recomend this hotel for opera viewers.
Decent hotel and priced ok- it’s a room and clean bathroom and that’s about it. No frills and no adjustable AC in the rooms so it got a bit warm at night for me.
