Home away from home

Service was excellent. Staff is very nice. The rooms feel loved in but nothing beats having a kitchen for a home cooked meal. Walking distance to Racetrack and Walmart around the corner.

Facility was in serious need of a deep cleaning. Floors were grungy in the room would get your socks black, no ice make, in kitchen or in the hotel, black mold in the ceiling in the bathroom, Exhaust vent in bathroom did not work, NO amenities like hair dryer or coffee maker, Had to listen to the THUMP THUMP THUMP of the hotel commercial washing maching all night long. They advertise clean linen available all the time this is not true. Parking lot is full of pot holes some big enough to damage vehicles. Staff was friendly and tried to help as much as they could. Overall I would rate it at a 2 at the most, then again what do you expect for $50 a night. It is far from what it shows no the Travelocity and other web sites.

"BEST STAFF MEMBERS EVER!"

Well my stay @ Woodspring suites on airline is very fabulous. I enjoy staying @ this hotel every time I come visit Baton Rouge. Miss Erica, Miss Tasha, Miss Asia & Miss Trinity are all very EXCLUSIVE STAFF MEMBERS OF WOODSPRING SUITES & THEY WILL TAKE GREAT CARE OF YOU ! DONE WELL DONE GUY'S.

We booked this hotel for an LSU game. But, after checking in we decided it would be better to drive home at 11:00pm than sacrifice our peace of mind because it felt unsafe. It had a low standard of cleanliness, as in, the sheets and towels were probably washed but the room as a whole gave a sense of being unsanitary and run down. The only pluses were that it was pet friendly and the receptionist was nice.

The outside is always dirty but the staff tries very hard to keep it clean all of arguing going on outside I was woken up ALOT 4-5 am with screaming and fighting going on out side and I was on the 4th floor and still was woken up the walls and stairs are dirty and full of trash. But the staff really tries we had 2 rooms and they were clean but I seen roaches In one room and the other had tape holding microwave together alone w one burner working only! But the room was very clean the staff was very nice and helpful but don't loose your key that's 10 to get a new one and don't put trash out in hall that's another 10 the elevator is raggedy and don't plan on riding it fast or even at all bc theirs 4 floors and one elevator and people stand at it keeping it open so no one can ride! Also if you have a service dog be prepared bc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

I had to view room before check-in. Considering I could not cancel my reservation and limited availability in the area, I checked in. You can tell there was some kind of fire in the room on the cabinets at some point. Cigarette burn marks everywhere and there was NO HOT WATER during our stay. Towels were cheap and non-absorbant, and there was a single cheap bar of soap in the bathroom. There was no front desk clerk on duty Saturday morning to address the hot water issue with before we left.

This was the worst place I have ever been to. We actually walked in and walked right out. DISGUSTING!!! It's definitely an extended stay hotel with multiple live in guests. Kids RUNNING through the halls, dogs barking like crazy, REEKED of cigarettes. Beds were barely a metal frame and a sheet to sleep in. It was nasty, from the walls to the floors. I wouldn't have let my dog stay there.

Would never recommend this facility. Front desk was giving people random key cards to “go check if the room was occupied” and to come let her know which room you chose. Never escorted us to check the rooms and every room we were handed a card to, was already occupied. Items could’ve been stolen and no one known or we could’ve been seriously hurt by someone thinking we were breaking in to their room. I will never be back and do not recommend this place at all. NOT SAFE!!!!
