A great location to visit Bath and surrounding areas. We stayed for three nights (Michael Buble concert) and found the apartment perfect for us. It was very well equipped.

Nice roomy digs on edge of everything

If you're going to be in Bath for 2 or more nights, this is a great option. It's a one bedroom apartment, fully furnished kitchen, walking distance to everything, but not smack dab in the middle of the hubbub. No luxe lobby, but a good place to base.

The team here could not have done more to accommodate me. I felt like this apartment really was my home for the duration of my stay. So spacious, comfortable and quiet. Really was a pleasure to stay. Very reasonable rates considering the size of it.

Our studio apartment was very clean with a modern bath and well stocked kitchen. The location was outstanding and convenient to pubs, restaurants and shopping. It was also a very short distance to the Roman Bath site and the lovely Thermae Spa facility. Only downside was lack of AC which was tough with heat warnings in the area - that was a complete oversight on MY part when booking. We would definitely stay again.

Great Staff, Great Studio Flat, Great Location

SACO Bath is a great “convenience” style set of rooms & flats right in the heart of Bath. Our studio flat was spacious, comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen including a clothes washer, a Smart TV & was air conditioned which was very important since we were there in the middle of the recent UK heat wave. The staff there were so incredibly nice and helpful!

The location is excellent, and the staff is very helpful. However the flat was not perfectly clean, and the broadband was not working (the issue was not mentioned, and the technicians came unannounced on the last day).

The location is good, within 5 min walk from train station, the places of attraction and also the grocery and shopping. The room is clean and tidy. Though a bit noisy because it is closer to main road but it doesn't bother me.

A very convenient and comfortable stay at Saco St. James. We had lots of room with a good size bedroom and a serviceable kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The surrounding neighbourhood can be a little noisy but that is more than off set by the convenience of having everything on your doorstep and within walking distance. I might suggest replacing the bedroom carpet with laminate flooring laid in the balance of the suite. All in all good value for the price and we would stay there again.

Always stay here when visiting Bath but disappointed with dripping tap, broken blind, a line down middle of tv, toaster cooking half of toast. Facilities clearly suffering from constant use wear and tear but when it’s such a great location I guess they can get away with it

Overall I’m happy

Stayed here with my mum for one night. It was lovely and clean and had more home comforts than we needed. Only negative was that the room was soooo hot and this wasn’t one of the hotter days. 2 fans in the room and the windows only opened a little so it made no difference. However the staff were super friendly and the location is great. Price point is perfect.

I stayed at SACO for just one night in between cities and had an extremely comfortable stay. My only complaint was that it was hard to find and, stuck with a giant suitcase in the rain, I gave up and had to eat a roaming charge to call the front desk. But they were so kind and literally waved me down off the street. My apartment was huge, quiet, and comfortable. Like staying at home. I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy it.

The location of this property is really first rate. It is extremely close to the train/bus station and within a short walk to restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, tourist attractions, etc. Despite its central location, the hotel is quiet, particularly at night. The hotel staff is terrific - energetic, accommodating and extremely polite. The unit we stayed in was surprisingly spacious and included a well stocked kitchen. A few minor quibbles: there was no soap provided, only a small bottle of body wash, which is less than ideal during this time of COVID and a need for frequent hand washing. The bathtub in our unit also didn't drain properly. However, as noted above these are minor issues. Overall, we enjoyed our time at SACO Bath immensely.

I had stayed at the property years ago and had a wonderful experience; however, I was disappointed this time with the value of the stay for what it cost to stay there. The room wasn't prepared properly for us. It was a hot day and the room was very warm and wasn't air conditioned. Fans were provided once we asked about them. I think they should have taken the time to open some windows prior to our arrival as there was a breeze that would have helped cool it down. The carpets were dingy, no soap was provided in the second bathroom and the rooms just felt neglected. I wouldn't stay there again despite the wonderful location.
