"The property was very well maintained. Great communication with the host. We found a very friendly tricycle driver that was readily available at a drop of a text. Alfa mart is just a 1 minute or less walk if you need something. Minor details, need a few more towels and sharper knives. But all in all we made due. Air conditioning worked great. "We planned a weekend trip to Puerto Galera, leaving Manila on Thursday afternoon and stop in Batangas City. Alpa Hotel offered a good stay before taking the boat the next day morning to Puerto Galera. There is a restaurant, although the food was nothing special. I do recommend to try a Filipino cuisine dish. The hotel provides a shuttle to the pier."
