Pleasantly surprised with great accommodations. Restaurant had good food and very convenient to our rooms. Joe and Sonia were excellent ensuring that our family was taking care of and comfortable. Will stay again!
The room was very clean and comfortable. The place is going thru some renovations and I can not wait to see the place completed. Great weekend get away, will definitely go back.
Nice little place. Room was large with comfortable beds. All we needed for overnight. Deceiving from the outside. Would stay there again. Lex was very nice and helpful. A very nice restaurant is there also.
Lex was amazing!!! Although they had some issues with electric, they were able to accommodate our needs and find another place for us. We enjoyed the food and the layout of the place. Highly recommend this place becuse of your staff! Very friendly staff!!! She is one of the best assets of the hotel!!!
Staff were attentive and kind. I was surprised that wash clothes were not available but they provided extra hand towels. Check in/out times we’re flexible and very very helpful. Limited cell phone service in that area of NY

Not bad for a night
Overall, it was good for what we needed, which was a decent place to stay overnight after a concert. Check in was a little confusing because you actually have to go into the bar/restaurant that’s attached & check in at the bar…..but, there was nothing that tells you that, we just circled the building until we decided we’d go inside & see if they could direct us…..which they did, but it would have been helpful to have some sort of sign that said “check-in.” We watched several people pull up & circle the building because they were just as confused as we were! But, the bar/restaurant that was attached had a very chill vibe with cool bartenders & the food was really good, especially after driving 3 hours! Rooms were cozy for the night…..bed wasn’t super comfortable, but for 1 night, it was ok. The town itself is pretty desolate, so to have a room that also had a bar/restaurant attached was pretty ideal!
Overall a nice, large room. There was a layer of dust on the tabletops, and the floor was quite dirty. There are not a lot of options in the area, so I would stay there again, but will ask for a vacuum cleaner to be available.

Disliked: Amenities
Room was so bright with outside deck and intermittent car lights from parking lot. Property is run down and a mess. Bathroom had 4 lights over the mirror with 2 of them burned out. A box of Kleenex would have been a luxury. There was a dead bug in the medicine cabinet. You could clearly hear everything in the adjoining rooms.

Lex was nice and accommodating. Advertised as a hotel but is actually a motel. The place was priced a little high for a motel.
Twice someone opened the door to the room to enter. They also put us on a floor with unsafe steps we gad to navigate to get to. When we checked out no one was available to help us up the stairs to the car.

Basic clean accommodations, but incorrect WiFi password on the provided card was a major inconvenience as there was no cell service at all and no way to contact anyone in the evening.
John was super helpful with getting the lack of hot water fixed. He even brought us towels because who ever cleaned the room only put hand towels. The floors were dirty and the bed only had one sheet on it couldn’t tell if it was top or bottom. Only 2 creamers for the coffee station and one coffee cup. We were told to come to the bar for drinks.. but still was charged for 1 of them. Next time I think we will spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. No offense to John or his wife who was super sweet and fun to talk to. But he needs to get his housekeeping staff some training. I was a house cleaning supervisor and I wouldn’t let anyone stay in those rooms.
The codes for the room doors are generic, meaning every guest can figure out every room’s code. Completely inadequate security. I barricaded my door and still had a hard time sleeping.
Also, there was no hot water for a morning shower.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The location is beautiful, but unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience. Although the rooms were being renovated with new equipment, they were extremely dirty, and it was difficult to locate the person in charge. Additionally, there was no internet connection, and the beds were uncovered. The bathroom was also very dirty and appeared to have been recently used.
This was a 2 night hotel stay. The only way to our room was a narrow spiral staircase you had to carry your suitcase down, the tv didn’t work in the room, there was no warm water at all, there was no trash can in the room, lamp by the bed didn’t work, the closet had a light on that couldn’t be turned off, there were no wash cloths, the towel had a bug in it. We had a busy day planned so ate we got ready we went to leave and the room wouldn’t lock. We tried for 20 minutes and it just wouldn’t lock. There was no one available to get help so we packed and left at 10:30am
Go in restaurant to chk in (but posted hrs diff). VERY run down. All doors exterior. Mine had been kicked in - not fixed well but painted over. Door didn't lock & obviously hadn't for some time. Sketchy people hanging outside all night. Chk in process confusing- staff rude/ very unwelcoming. Webs with lots of bugs everywhere. Curtains didn't shut completely. On river but rafting launch ruins atmosphere. Could be done differently but no effort to keep tidy area - stuff everywhere/ messy. Bathroom decent.
