The staff was great and it’s a beautiful venue, unfortunately there was no AC, food at breakfast ran out, the noise level from dogs, other guest and parties was intolerable. Lastly, the spa sauna was broken and the hot tub as well.

The room was lovely,clean and comfortable.The provision of a fan was much needed and made the night bearable in the heat. Breakfast was excellent,food freshly cooked and plentiful and the usual range of cereals, fruit and pastries. Lunch was delicious, again food was tasty but we were a party of 12,a pre- booked celebration , and some of us had almost finished our main course by the time other main courses had arrived and one person had to send their food back to be reheated. Service was a bit haphazard but the young staff serving us were friendly and trying to do their best. Sandwiches are not served after 5.00pm so if you want something light in the evening you need to go elsewhere We dined in the restaurant and had a Caesar salad and a pizza which were again very good and the staff pleasant and helpful.

Stayed here with the family—great place, very quiet, and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, especially the full English breakfast. On closer inspection, the windows were a bit dusty, and the carpet had some hair on it. I’m not sure if this was due to the hotel being pet-friendly. The swimming pool timings were limited for kids (8–10 AM and 4–6 PM on weekdays), which was inconvenient. It would be better if these times were more flexible for families staying with children. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly.
