The hotel was lovely, it reminded us of a national trust property and the stained glass and the views over the coastline were amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room had a four poster bed in an actual turret and beautiful views of the coast out of both large windows. The breakfast had buffet options and the food itself was very good quality. Highly recommended.
Very nice staff only stayed overnight but will definitely visit again

Superb hosts, great breakfast, excellent location approx 15 min walk into Barmouth. Room decor a little tired, super small bathroom, small double bed & not very comfortable, enjoyable stay but would not necessarily return
What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment
Nice hotel, friendly owners with car parking. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was a bit "compact", not much room to move around and the bathroom was tiny. I would certainly recommend the hotel, nice location high above the town.

Lovely place to stay . 20 mins walk into the centre.
We went with two other couples and we all really enjoyed our stay. Good home cooked food. The couple who run it made sure we had a good time.
Loved it, hotel has a little bit of magic to it, stunning views, staff exceptional, breakfast was superb, evening meal perfect and loved the historic charm, nothing too much trouble thank you for a great weekend
Fabulous stay as always. Nice warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely evening meal. This is why we keep coming back! And also for the Great views!😍
Overall it was nice. Lovely looking over the bay. A nice place to relax. The bedroom was spotless but everywhere else would benefit a good cleaning. Food was excellent and service was good.Very old house in need of a renovation .
Enjoyed our stay at the lovely location. We had a good evening meal and breakfast which were both good quality and freshy cooked. The hotel is very clean but the shower is very small in the no 2 turret room. Plus the bed is very hard .
Breakfast was great, some were just happy with the buffet, cereal, fruit yoghurt, toast, juices but the full english was really good and you could choose any combination of the full english, cooked fresh specially to your order. We only ate in one evening and the food was ample and beautifully cooked. Bar prices were good, not near as expensive as many hotels so nice to stay in on an evening. The original features of the hotel are wonderful, some reviews suggest modernising but that would ruin such a historic building. The only downside for me was the mattress and pillow's could use an upgrade and I prefer carpeted room but minor niggles. We will definately return.
The property was great well looked after built 1892 features were great the staff very welcoming and helpful very clean.had a lovely stay would visit again.outlook views superb
