Great location to all the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Very loud hotel though… could use some light touch ups to cosmetic wear and tear. Over all it was an okay stay. I don’t think I would book again.

Definitely more a hostal with only private rooms than a “boutique hotel”. Good location right by main attractions. It was fairly clean. The staff were a mixed bag, one was very friendly/ nice and the others clearly couldn’t care less. It was a good spot for a couple nights stay and if you’re venturing out for the whole day and just need a place to sleep. It looked very aesthetic from the pictures but in person it looked like they ordered everything from Amazon and slapped it together; won’t age well. We weren’t provided a TV remote even after asking the staff, so we couldn’t use the TV. The Amazon branded safe broke with our passports locked inside and the staff made it quite clear we were a nuisance when asking for the master key.

I loved that it was centrally located, close to plenty of restaurants and shops. Walking distance to many attractions and the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony and people watching in the plaza.

Excellent service from friendly staff, great location Nice touch with free tea, coffee or even a beer 24 hrs per day. Only downsize is the size of rooms but considering this is right in the centre of Barcelona more than acceptable for a short stay.

Fab location - right on Placa Reial. Water machine and free tea, coffee wine and pasties in reception area. Was a bit worried when we entered the room and saw ear plugs but even though right in the square absolutely no noise at all. Clean, comfy bed. Only dropped a point because the front door malfunctioned and locked us inside! We had to wait about an hour for the maintenance man to come and ‘release’ us. Bit worrying if there had been a fire as the receptionist said there was no other way out (although I understand there is through one of the rooms). Would stay again

The stay was in the heart of La Rambla; It's in an excellent location. There are no elevators, so be prepared to climb stairs with heavy luggage. A special shout out to Bry was especially helpful getting our luggage upstairs on our first night. It is a little noisy late intonthe night but I was able to sleep well. The hotel does give you earbuds to lessen the noise.

Hostal Ambos Mundos is in a great location, with shopping and restaurants close by. It was clean and well furnished. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our only complaint is that we were unaware that it is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Diah was an awesome, helping us getting our luggage up and down the stairs though.

This hotel is in the old square in Barcelona and is a nice location. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. It was a lovely place to stay unless you are bothered by a little noise since people don't leave the plaza until late in the evening. There are two things you should be aware of that the hotel doesn't provide information about: the rooms are up about four flights of stairs; there is no elevator. Also, the hotel says it has a shuttle - well, the shuttle is an invitation to book Welcome Pickups, and it's expensive. We paid a little more than 60 Euros for two of us from the airport to the hotel. Cabs are readily available and are much cheaper.

The room was just what we wanted. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the balcony looked right onto the Plaza. The location is ideal next to La Rambla with easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping. Amazing stay.
