The hotel is in a convenient location being a few minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya where airport buses are frequent and La Rambla joins. Security is good as the room key card is used to gain access to the hotel itself. Reception staff are friendly and the check in was quick and efficient with a choice of welcome drink included. The room, although very small, was clean, quiet and had good facilities including a safe. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a very good assortment of hot food, cold meats and cheeses, bread and pastries, fruit, salads and cereals. The choice was varied on a daily basis too. There is a bar in the lobby and very good restaurants a few minutes walk away. I consider this a perfect hotel and do not hesitate to recommend it. It will certainly be my choice should I have the opportunity to visit Barcelona again.

Basic Hotel in a very close location to the city center. 10 Minutes walking to Placa Catalunya. Dont expect anything fancy or luxurious. Rooms to the street are quiet thqnks to sound proof windows.... I'd categorize this hotel properly to be a 3 star hotel, everything is a bit worn off due to high travaller turnover but everythjng was clean and staff friendly, helpful. So it's a place to sleep and shower while in barcelona. Nothing more, nothing less. Didn't try the breakfast. If youd go to the nirmal, touristy brunch restaurants around, youll not peave unter 15-20€ for a breakfast (tourist prices) - typical spanish places are more authentic and value for money; but serve a different choice of foods....
