Great location, helpful and kind staff, and we loved relaxing by the pool after a long day of sightseeing. Our room was a good size and very nicely cleaned.
Would stay there again!
We had a great stay! The room was clean and spacious and the staff were polite and helpful. The location could not have been better. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Barcelona. I highly recommend this hotel!
Very clean well maintained hotel in a desirable location - the staff was uber friendly and extremely helpful. Walking distance to a lot of site yet quiet - we welcome the idea of returning
It is a nice hotel. The suite is bit smaller compared to North America standard. They have unlimited ice and cappuccino coffee machine in lobby for free. Staff are friendly and helpful with directions. They have pool on rooftop. It easy to walk the area and safe.
We had a fantastic stay! The hotel has a great location, the room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything felt brand new and well maintained. Highly recommended!
Brand new amenities and in a great location. The rooftop pool is great! Staff are available 24 hours.

There is no soundproofing for the rooms so street noise is very loud. Would highly suggest you bring ear plugs. Upon arrival a person was at the desk complaining about this and when we were assigned our room we understood the complaint. Staff was kind, breakfast was pretty good, and the pool on the roof is small but the space to seat around the pool is nice.
It was well located for walking in the Gothic quarter and all around. The rooms were clean and very nice. They offer cold water bottle refills station and coffee 24/7 which is really nice. They have a small pool but enough to cool yourself off. My only grip is do not stay on the 1st floor. The garbags are located just outside the windows and the noise from the street is very audible in the room. Outisde of that a perfect place to stay.
Love this hotel! The location was beautiful in the El Born neighborhood with lots of great food and shops around. The pool was nice and quiet and was such a great way to cool off after spending time in the Barcelona heat. Room was clean, the bed was outstandingly comfy (we overslept twice!) and the balcony was really nice.
Breakfast was very good, only issue was the air conditioning, was not on when we checked in and there were no instruction how to turn it on. The last day one of the cleaning staff instructed me how to turn on. Too bad we weren’t instructed a few days before would have really improved our stay.
Be careful of the cab drivers, we had the hotel staff call us a cab for 12 noon to take us to the cruise port and when we got into the cab, I noticed that the metre had been running and was already at nine dollars. I just made the assumption that it was a fee to go to the cruise port, but when we ended up at the cruise port, he shut the metre off and added the fee so basically he charged us for sitting there waiting even though he was early and we came out before our scheduled time of noon. Just be careful

The Andante has a lot of potential but too many things got in the way. The desk help were very unprofessional and at times downright rude. I had booked and paid for 3 double (queen) rooms for 3 couples traveling together. We all arrived together to check in. The first couple to check in were advised that their room was not quite ready but would be within an hour. The second couple to be helped were told that they were lucky because their room was already ready. We were the last to be helped but were told that we were also lucky because our room was ready too. We and the second couple were in rooms next to each other on the 4th floor and when we saw the cleaning people were working on the 4th floor we assumed that the first couple would be near us.. But that was not the case. The first couple were not able get in their room for quite some time and when they finally were they were given a room on the first floor! When they asked why, they were given a bogus excuse that it was
up to the innkeeper who supposedly upgraded the other 2 couples. That is a total lie as I had already paid for all 3 rooms! To make matters worse, we had terrible issues with the ac and we had no lights at all in the shower in our room while the other couples did.
I purposely chose the Andante for its location and charm so it was disappointing that we did not have the experience we were all hoping for.
