Très bel hôtel mais beaucoup de rénovation à apporter. Peut être en fin de saison... (moquette tachée, un abat jour manquant, radio inutilisable, housse de couette tachée, tv très petite invisible depuis le lit, terrasse mal entretenue, ). Salle petits déjeuners passable mais service inexistant. Indigne d un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Good situation next to the lake.

Hotel run down as they are about to close for refurbishment. We wish them well as it could be fabulous. Staff are lovely .

Bel hôtel, superbement placé

L'hôtel va être rénové sans doute en a t il besoin. Il est merveilleusement placé dans un cadre naturel magnifique. Les prestations sont excellentes et le rapport qualité/prix séduisant.

Visit Banyoles but don’t rush to this hotel!

The hotel is tired, even faded, and not worth 68 euros b&b. It’s setting is breathtaking but I was put in a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor almost hidden away. Room was clean and serviceable at best but in a hotel that was fairly quiet this was the opportunity to give guests the best rooms, an opportunity not taken. Breakfast was a laid out tired buffet with limited chioce and not worth 10 euros , it was also served in the basement with no view yet the hotel boasts a prime position overlooking the lake! Whole place needs a re think! Banyoles however is one of Spain’s hidden gems! Fabulous town in an amazing setting!

Hotel antiguo y poco conservado, , eso si con una situación ideal al lago, aunque si lo que quieres es descansar por estar de trabajo que te den una habitación interior. Me quede con ganas de probar la piscina, tiene buena pinta.

Nice location...not 4*

The hotel’s location is beautiful and the views from our room were stunning. The public areas of the hotel seem reasonably well maintained. Our room was in need of an update though. The carpet and curtains were worn and shabby, The furniture was falling to pieces (every time the minibar cupboard was opened a shower of chipboard covered the carpet). The shower screen didn’t meet the bath so the entire bathroom floor flooded every time we washed. The safety deposit box did not work. When I reported this to the receptionist she shrugged her shoulders and said nothing could be done. The overall impression was that 15-20 years ago the hotel was lovely and worthy of 4*. Unfortunately it’s been allowed to decay since with very little/no effort to maintain it.

El Hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable.

Las instalaciones están obsoletas por ser un hotel de 4 estrellas. El personal es muy amable aunque escaso. El desayuno y el servicio de cocina es muy mejorable.

Excelente elección

Fuimos en viaje de ocio dos días. Excelente ubicación y atención del personal. No salimos a comer ni a cenar fuera pq la comida del hotel es exquisita. Sin duda repetiremos.

Personal muy amable. Las instalaciones algo justas

Dio la casualidad que el hotel se quedó sin calefacción en una noche bastante fría. No obstante no lo pasamos mal pero eso es una incidencia que no se pueden permitir. He de añadir que el personal ha sido muy atento
