"Staff and restaurant very good, especially smoked haddock for breakfast. Dinner menus but overpriced. My double standard room was far too small ( not for two people) lucky I was in my own. Furnishing very poor and cramped. Shower room even smaller and no shelf for soap / shampoo. Disappointed really."

"This was the second time of staying at the Banff Springs Hotel. I found the whole experience very pleasing. The reception, bar and restaurant area is very clean and a comfortable place to chill. I booked single rooms for my Son and I and we both found them to be of a good size with a comfortable bed, which is all one needs after a long drive up from London. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and found that the choice of food was plentiful and a good variety of dishes. The food itself was well presented and tasty with good portion sizes. The staff were all very polite and extremely helpful. The only really minor faults I could find were that of no lift and as a disabled person who finds it difficult to walk I struggled with the three flights of stairs. The only other fault was that in the face of hygiene the TV remote was very dirty with a build up of grime around the buttons and failing batteries. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are intending to work or holiday in this beautiful East coast part of Scotland."

"Room dirty , no remote for tv No breakfast in morning even though we were charged for breakfast,no one available at all in the morning,tried calling the phone number supplied but no answer , finally got the manager at 12oclkck midday ,told them about my issues and they did not care in the slightest ,told me to contact hotels .com ,absolutely disgusting behaviour customer service zero . Do not recommend this place to anyone . "

"This has an amazing restaurant,staff very knowledgeable and very friendly, food excellent, very homely pub also and friendly people,hotel room excellent and clean , we had dogs with us and they were warmly welcomed also , can take dogs in bar but not restaurant which is not a problem at all ,excellent location with great parking ,highly recommended and we will be back ,dinner in evening great selection of locally sourced produce , and also breakfast in the morning amazing . "
