Ok in a pinch
This is no longer an econolodge per the Indian man behind the desk , 8 cars maybe in the parking lot, needs updating, didn’t do the breakfast , no more than one night is necessary !
It was very quiet. Friendly staff. Only downside was breakfast. Only offered toast and mini packaged doughnuts

We just needed a place to sleep and shower as we travelled. We have 3 priorities: 1) clean, 2) comfortable bed, not a board, and 3) everything works. Decor, age and breakfast are irrelevant. This place checked our boxes. We would stay again.

Very quiet area. The motel is all by itself since the surrounding businesses are closed. Would recommend for the road warrior just looking for a bed and a shower.

Staff was excellent. Room was a decent size but damp and musty.
Don't be fooled. The immediate surrounding area looks super sketchy, but the hotel was comfortable. The breakfast offering were a little thin, but the bed was nice and everything was clean and well-maintained.
Nothing fancy, but the price was right. Room was clean and everything worked. Perfect location right of interstate while we were traveling. Manager was pleasant and helpful.
Not real happy! Room was suppose to be king size bed but ended up in a small room with a single bed. Place is old and dated. Cleanliness is not a priority. Hotel is way over priced for what your get. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Close to the Interstate Hwy
Very reasonable rates. New owner is working hard to please. The continental breakfast is a little sad but Kenny's Oak Grill is just a short drive downtown for a fantastic breakfast.
Stayed here a few years ago and thought it would suffice again for our latest trip to Austin. I'm not a picky person, but I was disappointed this time around. The hotel is really looking run down both inside and out. Our room wasn't as clean as I'd expect (again I'm not picky). There were hardly any other guests at the place - which I take as a sign that people are no longer satisfied with it's current conditions. It would probably suffice as a place to crash for a solo traveler, but families should skip past this place. The location, which is hardly the hotel's fault, is very depressed and rundown, and sits on the outskirts of town. I hared writing this review because the owners are nice and like I said, the hotel was better during our last stay.
I have chosen this motel several times for my visits to the Austin area. The rooms are clean, the staff is great and the beds are comfortable. It is a bare basics motel, but it has served my needs for a good price. The only thing I wish were a little better were the breakfast. I like to have some protein or fruit with my breakfast, but they really only advertise a continental breakfast, so if you want more for breakfast, you can go somewhere else. The internet is pretty good also.

Typical Austin hotel
There's nothing adjacent to the hotel. The location reminded me if the beginning chapter of a Stephen King novel.
