The first room had one cockroach but service was very generous and transferred me into a much better room on the second floor. I also loved the property being right next to the train tracks so you could see all trains going by right outside the window.

Rooms were spacious, but curtains didnt close properly, roms smelled of cigarette, had to reset my card key several times for one room and once for the other, one room's beds matresses were lumpy and uncomfortable, the other was ok. Toilet was not flushing properly on one room and was unflushed when we checked in, as a result the room smelled of poop, not pleasing at all. on the up side, the staff was friendly.

Economic and Friendly

I chose to stay at Extended Stay to economize as I attended a conference in Round Rock. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly - and the other residents were friendly also. The only disappointment was that the facility had run out of cooking utensils and plates, so I had to improvise.

The staff was really nice and welcoming, however the room was definitely not clean, there was multiple roaches and dead bugs on the floors, and past guests stuff under the bed. The toilet also doesn’t work very well

Bed isn’t a queen it more like a twin, nothing is updated, says its a non smoking place but you can smell Weed and cigarettes through out the building. The only good thing its close to the highway and walking distance to restaurants. Over all I wouldn’t stay here again

Overall customer service was great but the cleanliness was horrible we found what it appears like blood stain on the floor and the sheets had like old poop stain on it. The good thing we brought our own sheets but next time I wouldn’t recommend it.

Crawling with cockroaches (I killed multiple every day. Had some crawl on me in bed). Holes in the curtains, holes in the walls, hallways smelled, keys had to be remagnetized almost every day, people always loitering outside, making it feel unsafe to enter. Breakfast was advertised (and was one of the main reasons I picked this place), but not provided. I will say that staff were friendly.

Ugh!!! Nope!

Harmony (front desk) was great. We were a late check in and she got us going. The place itself was gross. Hallways stained with “stuff” all over. Floors outside the elevator filthy. Walls had holes, had to almost do a “warrant breach” to open our room door. Beds were hard. I did like the pillows. The place needs a lot of tlc

AVOID this hotel!!!

Avoid this hotel! We were in a bind due to a/c issues in July in Austin and needed a hotel. We found this last minute but in hindsight would have rather slept in our hot house. The shower didn’t have a curtain, the ceiling and floor were falling apart, there was something (mold?) growing in the shower, there was no trash can in the unit, the beds were uncomfortable, all linens smelled like bleach and were threadbare. We didn’t feel the hotel was particularly safe but we had our large dog with us so we felt okay. There are no amenities in the hotel to speak of and though they advertise free breakfast, that does not exist. I will say that the young men who helped us at check in and check out were absolutely lovely and helpful. They were the only positive part of our experience.

Could have been better

Very dirty inside and out of the hotel…. first thing you notice was the trash that was over flowing when you pulled into the parking lot, My first room was infected with cockroaches and other bugs…. second room was dirty carpet full of stains, crayon all over the wall, room service never came and cleaned but in their defense I didn’t ask so I can’t totally knock them on that, trash was left in the hallways left by other guest that checked out the day before, 2 out of the 4 washing machines where very dirty, trash again all over the floor including a large amount of water leaking from the vending machines. On a positive note the person that checked us in was very nice

I am quite comfortable with all of the staff; and it is one of the quietest venues in the evening for resting. My son resides in an older, conservative neighborhood within 20 minutes walking; and the Round Rock pathways and sidewalks are genuinely pretty. We have two adult granddaughters with international travel experience who convey that the city of Round Rock is pretty with relaxing features. Extended Stay America is my choice all over the USA.
