"Nice hotel with everything we needed. The staff were all professional and polite. The bar was decent and they asked everyone if they wanted another drink before closing. The breakfast was good. We would return if we ever stop in Nottingham again."

The dining room was the same as the breakfast location and the lighting was too bright, like eating in a cafeteria."

"Nice hotel but wildly overpriced - £177 for a night in a very basic room, with a rather uncomfortable bed, no ironing board and a pretty useless TV. Also, what’s with the need to type in a code to get into your room every time - seems a bit like a cheap out move compared to every other hotel where you just tap a room card - £177 A NIGHT!! Good breakfast, albeit with cheap ingredients, but the shower was exceptional. But not really worth the money - I felt ripped off."

"room was not cleaned. The bed was left dirty from the previous occupant, a sanitary wrapper was on the bed, toilet was soiled, wet towels on the bed, dirty drinks cups. No room change could be offered, I requested refund which I was told needed to come from Expedia. I have now emailed Expedia 3 times and await their verdict on whether they will refund my money. "

"We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. "We stayed in a classic room, which was spacious and comfortable. You can park at the front of the hotel to unload then move your car. Breakfast had a varied choice although slow with the tea & coffee. "
