"The fire alarm came on twice up until 12am. Very loud and unpleasant. Both times it was a false alarm but we had to go to the lobby to find out. "

"Room immaculate. Staff ALL excellent helpful welcoming and highly professional. The spa is being renovated but we knew this when we booked. Bar is well appointed and well staffed. This Hotel is a gem and the food in both restaurants (hotel and Jetty) is exceptional albeit a little pricey but that is life when you want quality. "

"We didn't use the Spa which I am sure is lovely, its an additional cost and we didn't have time. The lobby is also ok, its the rooms! The bed was comfy but the bath, shower attachment and shower curtain were from the 1970's as was the furniture in the room - minimal toiletries - 2 mini shampoo bottles! A spa hotel is the implication, but it certainly not that !"

"I could not turn the radiator off in my room and it was constantly on and it was very hot. The people staying in the room next to me left their TV on all night. I asked them to turn it down and they did the next night but then they just sat there chatting till one 2 o’clock in "
