This motel was exactly what we wanted, a clean, comfortable, affordable and friendly place to spend two nights while we were in 100 Mile House. Nothing fancy but exceptionally clean and well maintained. Definitely stay there.
I was recently at a seminar in Armstrong and chose this motel because there are few, if any, other motels there. I needed a motel that accepted dogs. The staff at the front desk did not appear to check me in for what seemed like forever but was in fact about five minutes. The room itself was fairly clean and was equipped with a microwave and small fridge. The bathroom was in worse shape with what appeared to be black mold along the bathtub grouting. What I was most disturbed about was that no one went in to make the bed, provide clean towels or wash the coffee cups, and I was away from the room from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30p.m. Would stay in nearby Vernon another time.

Ok for the price.
Very basic cinder block hotel. Phone on reception desk to get someone to check you in or out. Looks to be a small family operation. Restaurant is no longer open. No pub, but there is an attached, well stocked liquor store. Owner/manager was very pleasant. Room was clean, bed comfortable, good tv and channel selection. Nothing picturesque about location but grocery and fast food are near by.

Clean and comfortable...just old.
We were there because I had an appointment at the local Health Centre the next day. Since this is the off season, it was very quiet. It is an old motel, but it was nice and clean and the room itself (and the beds) were very comfortable. The furnishings are in good condition, just outdated and mismatched. The toilet needs a new seat and sometimes the water continued running after being flushed. However, the front desk clerk said he would take care of it. He was pleasant and helpful. The on-site restaurant was closed because it was the off season.

Good value with comfortable bed and friendly staff
This place has all you need. A comfortable, clean room with a good bed. The price is good value for you money. The room walls are cinder blocks so you do not hear any noise from adjacent rooms. Upstairs rooms have balconies where we cooked our supper with our camp stove. The hotel is a bit near the highway but when you close the balcony doors you get very little road noise in the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Friendliest staff
This was a very comfortable hotel to stay at. The beds were great and it was quiet. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. They made all the difference.

Hotel could use some brightening up
Older Hotel, carpet was filthy and old.. Rooms were dark. However, bathroom was clean and the beds looked fairly new and clean - overall it was an okay stay.
Staff quite welcoming and accommodating. Experience OK. Only saw one staff member, who seemed to be run off his feet. Fairly quiet location despite being near highway. Room was well stocked with necessities but ants all over the floor was quite off putting.
Clean, recently updated room, easy access to parking. Only negative was less than thorough housekeeping each day (e.g. no clean glasses, coffee cups, etc.). Otherwise positive.

Less than good.
Some sticky substance on night stand I had to clean off before using. Previous occupant had left stuff in fridge that was still there. No vending machines although there was an ice machine.
Not what I booked through Expedia and paid for. No apologies from hotel only blaming Expedia, no refund, no service, only excuses and outright lies. Room with a view and balcony that I booked ended up being a room with no balcony, that looked out on a power plant. Manager never at desk, common to wait 20 to 30 minutes if you go to desk. Other staff look for him but can't find him. When we tried to get things straightened out we were told that he didn't need this, he was having a bad day. Wrong thing to say to people who had travelled for 8 hours to attend a celebration of life for a dearly beloved family member, had booked and paid for a specific type of room in advance - that we clearly did not receive (but were charged the same rate anyways, with no apologies - only excuses - in fact, we were told that it was Expedia's fault as the type of room we had booked with a patio, were all booked up for months in advance so shouldn't have been a choice on their site, etc..) Horrible, overwhelmingly bad experience!
