"Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. The hotel manager (who spoke excellent English) greeted us warmly and provided plenty of helpful information, such as maps, local restaurants, transport information, etc. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials, including air conditioning (definitely needed at night, as it stays hot after sundown in Sicily) and free wi-fi, and were well cleaned daily. "We had a wonderful stay at Villa Landolina. The room and whole property was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection. Highlight of the stay was the swimming pool, we had it to ourselves a couple of afternoons, and there is a little pool bar that they serve drinks from in the afternoon which was a nice surprise. The owner sent us a list of local recommendations, which was very useful and all were great recommendations....
