If you want to get away from it all this is an ideal place to stay. A very nice house on a very quiet private beach with everything provided. You'll be self-catering so be sure to bring your groceries and drinks! You can do as much or as little as you want, I went snorkelling with Sean at Nemo Bay which was spectacular!

Beautiful Sunset

My recent stay in Laptia's hidden gem was an unforgettable experience. From the serene location to the thoughtful amenities and exceptional service, every element exceeded my expectations. Nestled on the western side of Aore Laptia offered unparalleled tranquility. The peaceful ambiance provided a much-needed escape, and the sunsets were truly magical, painting the sky with unreal colors. The amenities were well-curated, ensuring comfort throughout. The fully equipped kitchen, including a gas hob and fridge, was a delight. The beach's supply of driftwood for bonfires added a rustic charm, while the shoreline bonfires accompanied by the waves created an indescribable experience. Yet, the standout was the extraordinary customer service. Matthew, our host, was a true asset. His assistance with taxis and insights about the island enhanced our stay. His genuine care and dedication elevated our experience. Not to be overlooked, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights for more adventurous days. In conclusion, Laptia getaway was enchanting. With its mesmerizing location, well-furnished amenities, and exceptional service, it's a must-visit. Whether drawn by the serene surroundings, captivating sunsets, or warm hospitality, every aspect of our stay was flawless. Eagerly anticipating a return to this captivating escape for its heartwarming experience.

We loved our stay at the Lapita Guest House. It is a beautiful location. Great beach in front, palm plantation behind. Decent snorkelling nearby with schools of fish in the shallows. The guest house is very private, but really comfortable. Matt and his team were great to deal with. The bean bags and loungers on the sunset deck were super comfortable and a great place to relax. The SmartTV was a point of difference. Was really nice to watch a couple movies in the evening. The stove was a little tricky, but the shower was hot. Beds were pretty good too. We got a lift to Nemo Bay which we also enjoyed.
