Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!
Totally overpriced. Waited 1,5 hours for lunch and was served overcooked, burnt, overpriced, and bland pasta. Dinner took two hours for the first persons dish to arrive, and three hours for the last group member to get the food. Loud place. Understaffed and obviously not well managed. Rooms are okay, but really not worth that much money. Matrass has this plastic cover that makes you sweat. Basic furniture, shabby lock that took us once ten minutes to open. Almg the beach tehy built this wall with stones that is covered in thistle wire you have to be careful not to get tetanus from. Beach is also dirty.
The spa is actually in Cape Coast and they have to send someone, so who knows if you actually can get treatments. Pretty pricey anyway.
All in all: we'll never come back!
Excellent location right on the beach and best for seawave sound at night “Fantastic serene” and food good variety. Breakfast perfect. Could be rated 5/5 * if they have had phones in the room and better telecommunications system; WiFi not functioning at beachfronts.
the hotel is well situated ,and is very clean. rpooms themselves are from a very good quality. the fisrt night there was no place in the resto, as a seminar was ongoing and they tried to put us on a terras, in the wind. However, staff was very helpful to come with alternative solution. but a lot on the menu was notr available ( glass of white wine neither(?)) and we were sitting in the smoke of the bonfire. Not the best experience , though. Breakfast included is ok but could be improved a little. Quite regular power and water cuts. Neighbourhood is very poluted. Happy to have seen the place.
Friendly and attentive staff, great location. Food service was only A-, everything else was A++++!

Nice beach and good management
- Spacious nice rooms
- Very good food
- Good place if you want to relax. Wonder beach, but it could be even better if they do something about all the litter.
- If you are travelling alone like me, there is a risk that you will be bored. The place is very isolated, and there are no activities at all.
- Great management. Since the WIFI temporary did not work, the manager lent his phone to me so I could access the Internet. Also he upgraded me to an executive room as an compensation.

Awful service
I'm very disappointed with the service because the card machine didn't work and I had to go to Cape Coast to get cash. After that, their attention was really bad, so I wouldn't go there again.
