This is a motel and it is kept clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The property itself is old but maintained as per age and is family friendly as there were no sketchy people
dingy and dated and decrepit looking inside the lobby and hallways. Room
And Bed was reasonably clean and comfortable though. The signs still say it is an Econolodge rather than a quality inn. It was about the only hotel in Ann Arbor I could find on a homecoming weekend with any vacancies that cost less than $200 per night

Liked: Staff & service
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Doesn't appear many updates have taken place since the 90s. Not a bad place to stay for the night after a Michigan game if you don't feel like driving home.
You get what you pay for. I believe they were in the process of remodeling. Our room was very dirty, smells in the hallway constantly, old beaten up furniture. Total bust.
Staff were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The signage on the building became an issue locating the hotel. It is no longer the Quality Inn; it is now Econolodge, so take note of that if you are looking for the hotel. The beds, towels, etc. were clean and comfortable, but the rest is less than desirable. The floors when you walked into our room were disgustingly dirty. Our tennis shoes were sticking to the floor, so I cleaned the floor with a few disinfectant wipes I happened to have in my bag. There was a weird smell throughout the hotel, but thankful our room did not have the same smell. We just ran the air/fan the entire time so that nothing could seep in under the door while we were there. I would not recommend this hotel and do not plan to stay here in the future. We also had friends who stayed here, and when they checked in, someone was being arrested for arson; they were caught setting a fire using the paper towels in the lobby bathroom.
First, it's no longer a Quality Inn but Econolodge we found out. Hard to find in the dark. The Name speaks for itself. Majorly outdated and old. Small rooms though the beds were comfortable and good sleep.
No amenities in the lobby like coffee or water. Breakfast was only cold cereal, old bananas, packaged rolls and microwave sandwiches. Coffee and juice - fair. Not the breakfast I would expect fron a nice hotel.
Won't be back.
Staff was nice. Area was nice with restaurants nearby and room felt safe. But i checked out as soon as i saw a cockroach walking up the wall.

Our room was very clean and we were so pleased there was very hot water in the shower not lukewarm like so many hotels today. There is nothing fancy here but cleanliness is #1 for us.
This is not a nice hotel, not sure how it compares to others in the area but it is extremely run down. Shower had hairs in it from previous guest, breakfast is supposed to go til 10 on weekends but it was picked up by 9:30, and I had to get several new keys made because their key machine looks like it’s from the 1800s.
I found the staff to be reasonably helpful and kind when I needed something so that was positive, but it was the only positive part to my stay!
Our stay was very quiet, relaxing. Room was clean. Only one mishap: The first room we had one of the beds were broken. Contacted the front desk and the young gentleman immediately moved us across the hall to another room. Would stay here again.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Well our room had no heat. The poor girl working was so stressed out. The maintenance man and her were so amazing and found us a room that had better heat. However, we were just in town for the game so only here one night. The hotel does need a lot of work done. But not bad for the price and just one night.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The carpet was dirty and paint drippy. Our room door had to be lifted up to force it closed room 124. The bed was clean and the high ceilings were very cool.
It was a nice, clean hotel room, easy check-in, nice hot tub and pool area. The only issue was other guests, there were other guests with rooms next to ours that that had children screaming and slamming doors in the hallway, running back and forth, we had to ask them to be more considerate. We were close to the front desk, I would have appreciated them stepping in before we had to.
The window panes were broken, the bathroom switch made a very loud noise, the hallway smelled of stale tobacco but the bed was comfortable. Vending machines did not work.

Disliked: Cleanliness
You get what you pay for!
I chose this hotel for the price and the fitness room, only to find out that it was closed. I wish hotels would just be honest and inform customers when amenities are closed. The room was very dusty. A quick wipe with a cloth could have taken care of this. This alerted me that the cleaning was insufficient. Breakfast was okay, but the coffee was good. No cups with lids which could prevent spillage when taking to rooms.
There were no towels. They have a pool and there are no towels!!! We had 3 adults in our room and they only supplied the room with 2 Towels. We asked for more towels and we were told that the did Not have any more. So, 3 Adults has to share 2 towels after using the pool and again the next morning to shower. The breakfast cosisted of STEAL bagels, ego waffles, yogurt, and cereal but No milk for the cereal.
