The staff is friendly, and the room is clean, there’re small shops around. The view of the canals looks nice, especially with lights in the evening. But the room was not ready when checking in at 3:00p.m.

Really lovely hotel and helpful staff! It’s about a twenty minute walk to the centre and has many shops nearby. Definitely would stay here again!

Overall a good stay! It was a capable walk with my luggage off of the train from the airport. Wonderful area with many restaurants, shops, market, cafe etc. All of the staff at the front desk were wonderful. I went at all different hours and everyone helped and answered my questions graciously. I stayed in Townhouse 816 and it was clean and comfortable. My only misunderstanding was not knowing there was different properties. So I had to carry my bags again across the street. Luckily I was only on the 1st floor so I didn’t have to carry my bags far but there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow so I felt bad for whomever was on the top floor. I also didn’t know the bathroom and shower were on separate floors. Not bad just different but you get used to it. Overall a good stay and would stay again.

Down to Earth Hospitality in Top Location

I could not have expected more for this highly affordable lodging in a safe & central location. I booked a double/twin share room so I could share with my niece who lives in Den Haag and, ahead of flying home. All staff were highly couteous & extremely helpful. Very happy & grateful.

Decent for price, had to stay in there sister hotel across the canal called the townhouse though for some reason, but price was good, shared toilet was clean constantly. About 20 minute walk to red light area, but it was just somewhere to sleep would stay again.

Small but comfortable

Bed was very comfortable, this property was very centrally located. Easily walked to anything we wanted to see. It was the perfect location to be staying at. Room and bathroom was very small, there were no towel racks in the bathroom for towels. Not very soundproof as we could hear noise from other guests. But overall, we had a very pleasant day.

Very small room, but perfect location

Very nice location, close to the city center an resturants. The double room was very small. It was clean and ok despite the size. Not the best location if you are by car, quite a distance to the recommended parking, 10 minutes walk.

Great location

I didn't realize when I booked that there were no lifts and no air conditioning. Those were the only downsides, and I may have missed that info when I selected it. great location, very good value, and comfortable bed and decent size bathroom for an old building.
Stairs up to my room, a bit of a challenge to navigate with a suitcase, but not uncommon in the center of old European cities, just be prepared
The view from about 100 feet outside the door of the hotel - fantastic!

ITC Hotel is located at walking distance from the mmain Amsterdam attractions. Plus is a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. But don’t expect luxury: in that area most hotels are very basic, located in old buildings with limited services. But, hey, that is a thruly Amsterdam experience! Go for it!

ITC Amsterdam

Location is great. Considering this is the cheapest hotel in Amsterdam center you get what you pay for. Room was clean but small, bathroom almost unusable and whole building is purely isolated with the consequence you could hear all other guests, while day (and night) long. If you budget is tight - this is a nice and cheap place. Want any form for comfort and space - look somewhere else.
