We stayed here for two nights during our time in Amsterdam. You are very close to both a grocery store and the tram which will get you anything the city quick and cheap. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. There was some construction going on during our visit in the lobby area. But our room on the third floor was clean bright cheery and just what we needed and expected I’d recommend and I’d stay again.

my staying in was quite nice, a solo bed room, sometimes, not so good sound isolation, sometime it was getting noisy, relative small room, with not much of confort , but nice value to many ratio. the hotel is near the Zuit trainstation, but about 30-35 minutes per tram from th center. By feet you need about 50 minutes. It a good agreable way to go to the center -by feet- if it is not raining or windy

The hotel is only just outside the city centre but has good transport links and so getting around is very easy. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The room was small but was en suite. The room also had team and coffee making facilities which is unusual for a budget hotel in the Netherlands and a welcome surprise. Sadly the TV in the room was broken, I reported this to reception only to be told many of the TVs in the hotel did not work and that it was down to the WIFI. Strangely the hotel WIFI worked fine and I was able to connect my phone it and use it without problem. I don't visit Amsterdam to watch TV but it is the reason this review is only 4 stars. The breakfast was good, continental buffet style and for only 10 euros a bargain. I will stay here again when I next visit Amsterdam.

Very well located for people attending the RAI Conference Center. 10-15 minutes walking distance. The personnel was very attentive to my needs, helpful, ans resourceful.

Not sure it could be called a Hotel. More like a Hostal. Beds were uncomfortable. Sheets and covers were stained not clean. The beds fell apart. They seemed to be assembled cheaply. At 4am in the morning there was loud music that woke us up and our room began to fill up with the smell of marijuana smoke. No apologies were given to us only that the person responsible for the loud music and smoke was thrown out of the hotel.

Super convenient for us. ur son lives 100 meters from the hotel. It is a non-tourist area. Small, quiet, very Dutch.

Mini room, not a room

I booked a room with a TWIN bed. Received a room with SINGLE bed. Room was so small, there was no space for a chair, a desk, or anything else.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We waited outside the door for 15 minutes to check in. We couldn't get in. Despite ringing the doorbell repeatedly, a woman who didn't speak English came first. Then another extremely rude person came, claiming it was under renovation. You can't check in at 6:00 PM. The hotel is filthy and poorly maintained. There are bedbugs in the rooms. When we mentioned this, they didn't care at all.

Room with a single bed is small but OK for 1 person who wants to be in a good location. The small pillows provided are not good. They should be replaced with full size latex pillows for better comfort and support.

Decent but quite noisy, especially as it’s an old building you can hear other rooms pretty easily, and the street if you are on that side. Nice to have the mini fridge and kettle in the room. The bathroom design is really poor though : the door open on the inside ! So to access the toilets behind the door it is super inconvenient as the sink is blocking the way as well… This door should definitely open to the outside !

Wouldn’t recommend.

It is a very nice building. The breakfast was good, but the room was terrible. The mattress kept sliding off the bed. The toilet seat kept sliding around after my husband fixed it. There was no working fan in the bathroom either.

Not a good place to stay.

No working TV (no reception) Heating not working. No laundry or bar area as advertised. 1st night no tv or heating, did not fix on 2nd day had to DEMAND to change room told not possible as no rooms available, but on their website there was 2 rooms available!!!
