"Charming, secluded countryside property with a lakeside view. Note that “pet friendly” means pets can stay in rooms but not in lobby or restaurant. It rained when we visited so we were very grateful the breakfast team allowed us to dine in an alcove room far from other guests, with our dog. Lovely hot tubs and sauna must be booked for an hour and paid for separately. I would love to come back in better weather to really enjoy the lake and grounds."
"The room was nice and clean. The Nespresso coffee machine was excellent. Loved having two bathrobes and reusable slippers in the room. I used these to go to sauna. The TV did not seem to work but I did not need it and the TV placement on the stand off the floor was not convenient.
The breakfast was very nice, especially the breakfast location in the rooftop bar with the views. Loved the service in the bar and the barmen made the best cocktails.
I enjoyed the sauna as well."
"Good property, fair value, overall good experience. Front desk staff excellent. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've seen in many places we've traveled."
"Wonderful location in the central area of Vaxjo. Close to the rail station, shopping, restaurants and walking/ biking trail
We used the bikes to bike around the lake
Växjö Cathedral was a few blocks away and worth seeing for its beautiful interior which incorporates glass in a creative manner
I was able to do ancestry research at the house of Emigrants With this knowledge we rented a car for the day and visited where my grandfather was born and worked as well as the glass factories
A wonderful visit"
"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. You get treated like royalty. I felt like a guest, not a customer. This is my first time ever writing a hotel review because this place was so wonderful.
The rooms are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the food is awesome! There is a garden in the back where lots of the fruits and vegetables are grown fresh. I can’t recommend this place enough!!"
