I arrived sound 4 am for check in as expected. No free rom could be located when I was made to wait, saying ‘10 minutes’ that took 30 minutes. Room lock was broken & no internet throughout stay until 10:30am. I only booked since I had stayed in Renion but apparently there are 5 properties. Disappointed.

The only thing was kind of disadvantage for Renion hotel was it's location. Even on website it says it is Medeu district this particular hotel is located in other part of the city.

직원이 친절했습니다.구글번역기로 직원과 대화하기에 무리가 없었습니다. 아침 식사도 적당했고 욕실 온수도 잘 나왔습니다. 알마티 공항 환승시 짧은 시간 쉬어갈 수 있는 좋은 장소입니다. 공항에서 택시로 20분정도 걸리는 거리입니다.

A very unwelcoming receptionist. Has no smile on her face. Noone answered the call at 4am. In the morning I asked to call my room at 1015 so I could wake up. Again, noone called although the receptionist took a note.

Nie wieder!

Leider war der 1. Eindruck falsch! Die Zimmereinrichtung war in übelstem Zustand, die beiden Stühle brachen beim ersten Sitzen zusammen, bei der Matraze schauten die Stahlfedern heraus, das Bad war schmutzig und verkommen, die Armaturen an Dusche, WC und Waschbecken defekt bzw. verrottet. Die letzten 2 Tage war die 3. Etage, auf der ich "wohnte," ohne Internet. Das Hotel liegt im ärmsten Teil der Stadt mit angebl. hoher Kriminalitätsrate und man empfahl mir dringend, das Hotel abends nicht zu verlassen.

A VERY COMFORTABLE HOTEL WITH A RESTAURANT

Zero complaints. The stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The hotel is 7 km from Almaty international airport. One can tell the driver Gotsinitza Renion, Seyfulllin Ulitsa 163A and they use smart phones, so the y help you reach the hotel easily.

Funktionelles Hotel in Bahnofsnähe

Das Hotel ist schön und funktionell aber leider ziemlich weit vom Almaty's Stadtszentrum gelegen in einen Heruntergekommenen Stadtteil in Bahnofsnähe (Almaty 1) Das Personal ist bemüht aber leider spricht sehr wenig Englisch ich musste meine extrem schlechte Russisch kenntnisse in Gang setzen das Zimmer war sehr gross sauber und Gemütlich

Я был в г. Алматы в командировке. В Вашем отеле останавливаюсь более 10 раз. он мне нравится, и обслуживание, и утренний завтрак. Администратор и горничные приветливые, готовые выполнить разумную просьбу клиентов. Но есть причины, которые раздражают: 1 - это запах приготовления пищи в ресторане по всему отелю распространен, то ли масло прогорклое (на котором жарят мясо), то ли не работает вытяжная вентиляция на кухне. 2 - плохая работа сантехника; в каждом втором номере подтекает сливной бачок на унитазе или засорена канализация - вода стоит в душ кабинке по полчаса, вследствие чего в номере стоит нехороший запах. А так соотношение цена/качество вполне приемлемо. В следующий раз, когда поеду в командировку, остановлюсь в Вашем отеле.

Я пенсионерка и большими средствами не обладаю. Захотелось внучке показать Алма-Ату. Выбирали один из самых дешевых отелей. Привлекло: хорошая транспортная доступность, сравнительно недалеко от центра, стоимость, завтраки. Факт превзошел все наши ожидания: просторный номер (стандартный 2-х местный) с 2-мя широченными кроватями, тихий кондиционер, маленький холодильник, телевизор. Но особенно порадовали завтрак (шведский стол) и ужин, который не был заявлен в рекламе. Это намного скрасило нам наше пребывание, когда после экскурсий не надо заботиться о питании. В целом впечатление очено хорошее.

Adfordable Hotel

Overall nice hotel. Staff was very nice and hospitable. There was one day with no water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Located about 5km from all the sights. Cool place to stay to learn about Kazak culture.

cheaper option between airport and city centre

A cheaper option in Almaty. You can take various city buses (#30, #34, # 7, for example) between the hotel and the city centre (to the south) or almaty -1 train station (to the north). I think the hotel is about 8 km from the city centre, and about 10 km from airport. I stayed there four nights on the second floor. Sometimes there are very noisy weddings on the ground level entertainment space, so I would suggest you get a room on a higher floor just in case you want to sleep (for example, if sleeping in the early evening before one of those early 1 am trips to the airport for your international flight!). The room cleanliness was fair; the room spacious enough. good hot water. no real view from the window. the hotel staff--some were friendly, some were rather lackluster. However, it is a pleasant enough hotel option, with a decent breakfast included. Various shops and exchange places at the intersection a block or two from the hotel.
