Hook Head lies to the south east of Ireland - the lighthouse now boasts a wonderful cafe and guided tour of the lighthouse. Well know as a landing point for migratory birds in spring and autumn, some very rare that get blown off course. Best visited at first light when you can experience the powerful pull of the light - followed, of course, by the fare offered by the cafe.
