"Microwave oven, bedsheet, floor everything was dirty. It seems like they dont clean or manage the property properly. Kitchen is very old fashioned and not usable. They are very sneaky. They charged me $100 without any notice or information. I asked for reason but couldn't provide me any reason. "

"We had a fabulous stay at Janis and Martin's beautiful guest house on the lake. The house was spotless and so well-equipped - there was nothing else we needed or wanted. The beds were really comfortable and the use of the canoe was a huge bonus, especially as we were blessed with such beautiful weather! Thank you Martin and Janis for your kindness and hospitality! "

The property is quiet and tucked away from the city but also close enough to everything else in Port Alberni. The host was friendly and easy to deal with. Although I did not meet him, my family did and had a lovely chat. Would choose to stay here again."
