Loved their complimentary breakfast. They changed some side dish menu every day so I never got tired of it. You might need to wait in the line right after the serving time starts (6:30AM). Although the seats are limited, there’s an option to take out food to your room. Convenience store is located in the same building, which is big help especially for travelers’ first day.

Like most Toyoko Inn properties, this location features well-maintained rooms and an easily accessible location near the JR station. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. While breakfast quality varies by location, guests can always rely on Toyoko Inn's signature consistency in room size and cleanliness. If you want reliable quality, great service, and highly competitive prices, we can't recommend this hotel enough.

The breakfast menu had a large range of options and differed every day. I (as a foreigner) was able to enjoy everything provided and also try some Japanese dishes. The staff was were incredibly helpful, answering any question I had and going above and beyond in many cases. The room was always clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel check-in area was a bit difficult to find and we were also unsure where to park. Luckily a staff member was in the carpark and showed us where to go. Directions of when we could enter or leave the carpark were very confusing The room was clean and staff very friendly. Could open the window for fresh air. Breakfast was free, but pretty basic.

It has all the amenities of a typical Japanese hotel accommodation, and it's highly space-efficient in terms of design. Staff was very helpful in checking in and checking out as well as explaining offered services. Its location is highly convenient because one doesn't need to go down a floor from the Akita station to reach it.

In Akita station, so as convient as it gets for Akita. Shopping is near, a wonder park is less than a kilometer west, and the trains don't get any closer. The bed was softer than average for a Japanese businesses hotel, but still very firm. Next time I'm in Akita, I'll most likely stay here again.
