With three bedrooms (sleeping 7), 1 bathroom with separate toilet, two outside entertaining decks and a large private garden, it is ideal for a family/friends getaway. All modern conveniences inc dishwasher, full kitchen, Weber Family BBQ are included. Situated beside the Allen Noble nature reserve and historic Bark Hut. Cafes, Restaurant and Pub all a short walking distance away. Lorne is a 15 min world class drive along the Great Ocean Road. By the Sea is the perfect place to sit back and chill out beside the open fire. Or explore the beautiful unspoilt beaches retained amongst the protected Marine Park.

Great location and very comfortable

Our family has stayed here a couple of times now. This is a very comfortable well set up house with a lovely fenced yard for our dog. The house is in a great location, close to the beach, Lighthouse and lots of walking paths nearby. Thanks Dee!

Great place to stay by the sea

Fantastic property for spending some time at the sea. A short stroll to the beach, the lighthouse, or some nice local restaurants incl the fantastic A La Grecque. Property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have liked a coffee machine but no major issue as we generally bring a moka pot with us. The front of the property doesn't have a fence so if bringing a dog with selective hearing (like mine) you may need to tie them up when sat on the decking for your morning coffee. No internet connection but good mobile coverage and nice to disconnect anyway. Overall had a very enjoyable stay and would def come again

Feels Like Home But at the Beach

Very comfortable and charming with every little thing supplied, feels like home, great location for the beach as well as the shops, very pretty setting, great outdoor living areas, small but perfect, easily accommodated our whole family, and with a generous and very helpful host/manager.

Fab seaside retreat

By the Sea is fantastically located, near all amenities and the beaches and the lagoon - a short walk to the lighthouse. The property has everything that you need to have a restful break, with a number of inside and outside convivial spaces. Would definitely book again

We had a lovely break at ‘By the Sea’. Great house, great location, fantastic deck!

Dee takes much pride in her property and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay and fall in love with the place. Walking distance to beach, shops and lighthouse. A great place to relax and unwind with plenty to do near by (if you want)! Highly recommended!

An amazing location & fantastic stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is in such an incredible location. The house was great! It had everything we needed. We had such a relaxing few nights away just exploring the area, our two year old loved the seeing the Rabbits in the front yard. We would definitely like to come back sometime in the future.

Perfect holiday house and location

We had a wonderful time at Dee’s beautiful house. It’s walking distance to Airey’s dog beach, something our pooch loved and the house is cosy with a lovely yard and quick access to shops. Loved it!

An oasis of peace

The house is welcoming and warm , little touches of art and creativity around the house along a warm gas fireplace gives you that feeling of a loved and cared house. Dee is very welcoming and very helpful. I wish I booked it for longer

Perfect holiday home that’s large enough to take the whole family or quiet enough for a couples getaway. Food and walking trails all within walking distance. We were allowed to take a little Cavoodle with us which made our holiday that much more amazing. Would highly recommend staying here as Aireys inlet is a beautiful town and worth checking out.

We had a lovely time. The property is very beautiful and welcoming. It was nice and clean just one towel was dirty and I only saw it after using it so that felt disappointing but other then that one thing, we had a lovely time. I would be coming back! The communication with the owner is easy and the location is perfect. It is a place that was designed to give a good feeling and that is truly felt.
