The hotel was previously a monastery and the stay was a very pleasant one. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet secluded location not far from the highway and near Diakopto town.

Good service!
Vey nice staff! Arranged dinner for me, despite the very late arrival.
The room was situated in the basement with a very small window, so no daylight. apparently previous guests had smoked in the room, housekeeping had tried to mask this with some spray but this made it worse. Also the bathroom was not clean and smelled badly. There is no possibility of ventilating the room through the tiny window.
The bedspread had lots of dirty spots. Late in the evening our upstairs neighboor returned and dogs started barking. We could hear every step and talking as if they were in our room. We had a horrible night and hardly slept.
We informed the receptionist but the hotel was fully booked, she suggested the next morning to get in contact with the menager of the hotel. We could not speak to him, so we sent a few emails but received no reply ar all.
The hotel is one of the more expensive ones in the region and we realize it is a converted monestry with certain limitations. We are very disappointed and feel not being taken seriously.

The room was very cold. It is almost impossible to warm up a room like that with the A/C when outside is 5C. It never got warm during the night or in the morning. The water in the bat was not warm enough to take a shower. There were no sleepers in the room and the stone-floor was impossible to step on. I needed to put my shoes on to go to the bathroom. If I had gone early I would have left. It was already 23:00 when I arrived so I had to stay. I would have not paid at all to the reception but unfortunately the payment was already done through the website.
Very quaint, clean, comfortable and charming place. Well decorated and the surroundings are beautiful. A little off the beaten path but still close to the shore (5 min drive) and the main highway there (also a 5 min drive). Very relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere. Great for couples, families without kids, and other travelers looking for a great place to stay along their journey. Breakfast was great, lunch/dinner was ok. The mountains are right there and there is plenty of hiking and exploration. Loved this place!
This was a unique setting, off the beaten path in Diakopte. The directions, while written in English, were difficult to follow, but the result was worth the effort. The former monastary grounds were beautifully landscaped. The rooms in the lovely, stone buildings were furnished tastefully. The evening meal, served in a great dining area, was a delicious buffet of traditional, Greek food. The wine, produced from grapes from the owner's fields, was quite good. Unfortunately, the pool was not available.
