"Warm, lovely sized rooms, great service, nice biccies, parking, the joy of sleeping in a breathing historic building. Full of history, charm and character in the charming Grade 1 listed building! 3rd time I’ve been and will happily becoming again when In Shrewsbury. Close to town, pubs, the river, shops and the city centre. Even Charles Dickens stayed her many MANY years ago!"

"Nice room, quiet and very comfortable room overlooking the car park. Oak Room was very good for supper - staff helpful and excellent food. Gym refurbished - all black and brooding. The only improvement staff wise is the spa staff should be more visible on arrival and not on the iPhone in the back room."

"The look and feel of the accommodation. Loved the Christmas decorations made us feel in the Christmas mood. The breakfast was nice and the dining area was aesthetically pleasing with nice views "
