Adelaide Hills Retreat @ Mt George, Escape to the beautiful Adelaide Hills!

Views to die for, spectacular ancient Stringy bark forest through which to meander to the dam situated in the valley, The Retreat is the perfect escape. Only 5 mins from the gorgeous villages of Stirling, Crafers and Aldgate, the Retreat is a cosy hideaway nestled in a secluded tree top location. The 2 story, one bedroom Retreat has its own driveway and entrance, and 2 outdoor areas to relax with a complimentary bottle of local wine.
Your studio is equipped with RC heating / cooling both upstairs and down, with electric blankets and a heated towel rack to ensure you stay warm and cosy at all times!
Offering a warm and welcoming space in which to relax, The Retreat is the perfect place to recharge and relax. Upstairs is a lounge and kitchenette, and deck with gas Weber BBQ and outdoor dining.
From the deck and lounge windows you can take in the magnificent forest views .
Downstairs is the queen bedroom with ensuite, again with gorgeous views to wake up to!
Guests are most welcome to meander the walking track which leads to the serenely tranquil dam, but we do suggest wearing sensible shoes. You may well encounter koala and kangarooson your stroll.
We are situated within a premium wine producing region with many beautiful and highly regarded wineries including The Lane Vineyard, Hahndorf Winery, Sidewood and CRFT Wines, all within a few minutes drive.
The quaint, historic town of Hahndorf is a 10 minute drive away.
There is an array of dining options available all within a five minute drive including the stunning Stirling Hotel, the beautiful old style Crafers Hotel, and the delicious Crafers Pizza Bar. Uraidla Hotel offers a bakery and craft brewery along with traditional pub fare.
The Retreat is situated alongside our main residence but guests are unlikely to see us as The Retreat is secluded and private. We are always available however via mobile should you require assistance or have any questions.
We have 2 pooches who you may hear occasionally bark in excitement if they come across our resident kangaroo population.
Please note, the queen bed is slightly raised and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
