Lovely friendly staff, nice clean room with everything I needed. One small complaint regarding the pillows as all to high and hard.
I’d stay again but will bring my own pillow 😊
This is our second stay at this hotel. Its rooms have been modernised but still show a hint of their earlier days which is a look I like.
Great shower and small kitchen area for a morning wake up cuppa.
Heaps of restaurants nearby and of course the bars downstairs. Even though the rooms are above the bars it’s not noisy at all.
Room was clean and staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The area had plenty of food outlets and restaurants. The hotel though is limited with food options. Plenty of car parking at rear of hotel but not in a locked area. Overall a place I would possibly stay at again.
The room was good and the linen and the bedding was excellent. The Staff were informative and respectful. The bus was so close by would stay there again.

Stayed at this place for 3 nights it was pleasant time with secure door access. The checkin process was straightforward with ample parking spaces. This area has lot of restaurants around with good prices and city is few minutes away. The room was clean with all required facilities. Definitely worth it.
Good hotel, with amazing staff and cleanliness. The rooms are comfortable but lack storage space and would love a chair in the room and the black roof makes the room dark (lighting is good to help to a degree). Overall beds are comfortable ( very soft beds) and great bathrooms. Great staff
The place was nice and clean. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Staff was friendly too.
The room was however a bit smaller given the price we paid. Close proximity to Adelaide CBD is a great advantage.

Not alot around the hotel. Not many food options in hotel.
If you want a quiet and comfortable place to stay the Empire is pretty good. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the renovations, the lighting was great, mini fridge, kettle, ironing board and iron. Loved that other guests had left their streaming profiles logged in! The staff were friendly and overall i would stay again. Maybe next time they will have a kitchen. I think k that’s the only thing missing a restaurant attached.

Room smelled so bad of cigarette I could taste it in my mouth, so I asked for a different room and that room smelt like bad body sweat, there are no windows or doors you can open in the rooms so I just turned the aircon on and sprayed it heavily with rexona, luckily we had to attend an event and it gave it time to smell a bit better for when we came back to the room. The exit/entrance had fresh vomit outside the door, right where you had to walk to get in and out, then between midnight until 1 am there was extremely loud domestic yelling and screaming in the hallway, it was really disturbing and upsetting and I was too scared to check outside my room in fear of being attacked and then around 7am there was a heavy smell of cigarette smoke wafting into the room, I’m unsure how or where it was coming from but I was looking forward to leaving. Apart from that, the old rooms were clean as such and nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable, had there been no other issues it would have been a pleasant stay. Not a very nice part of Adelaide to be in, I wouldn’t stay there again.
Everyone and everything was good however, trying to get the attention of staff behind the bar was a bit of an issue as they seemed more intered in service the patrons putting on bets.
