Stunning property with everything you could need for a tranquil break. Modern, clean and luxurious! We were so impressed with all the small touches, the breakfast supplies, the whisky and the lovely toiletries. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
This an elegant countryside lodging overlooking the Tay valley.
Continental breakfast had great coffee and pastries, granola, kieffer and bread.
Dinner can be found in Aberfeldy about 5 minutes away by car.
Listening to birds and walking was most restful.
A well designed studio flat with lovely touches, a comfy bed and a good shower. There was a kitchenette with minimal facilities - just enough to do breakfast and microwave the leftover food we had brought with us. (Note there are steep narrow stairs into the flat)
Great location near Aberfeldy and Loch Tay, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery in the area. Also, there are some restaurant options and a Coop, a short drive away in Aberfeldy.
We would stay here again.
Fantastic wee place perfect for couples very quiet, me and the Mrs loved it, you will need a car to get out and about as it quite remote, will definitely stay again.
Very quiet and peaceful place.Very nice and helpful owners, very clean room, amazing views from the room window.Delicious breakfast with regional bread and that coffee.... very delicious.I definitely recommend👌
Only one minor issue. You are not told your breakfast is self service and in your room. We also found that certain items given were not enough for two persons for two days but apart from that everything else was excellent.
The Steading,... A very nice place to stay without a doubt but has room for improvement. A modern contemporary simple chalet style build, well facilitated throughout ideal for self-catering, at least in our downstairs room. (not sure about the loft apartment above). My main bugbear is its meant to be Bed & Breakfast. Our room had a kitchenette from which I was supposed to do my own Breakfast. Wife was not impressed and if I had known the setup I would not have booked regardless of the good reviews.
My other major negative is that the male owner thought I hadn't paid for my 2-night stay, (24hours after arriving). No pleasant meet or greet there then or much of an apology when he realised it was his mistake. The owner proved to be a little more engaging... when we were going. The bathroom shower had health and safety issues with its location and the loft floor needs soundproofing. A work in process and not really a B&B but welcomed non-refundable payments.
The Loft at the Steading is Fantastic, it’s a beautiful space in a wonderful location. The room has everything in you could need for a stay and everything is quality and decorated to a high standard. If you like walking you can walk straight out of the door and head in any direction or if you fancy relaxing then this an excellent location. The breakfast provided was a great start to the day with plenty of choice.
Our room in the steading 1 was absolutely spotless. It was a bit smaller than expected but had everything we needed.
The bathroom was lovely very modern. The sitting room downstair was lovely very chic, this is also where breakfast is served, also a great choice to suit everyone.
Aberfeldy town centre not within walking distance, about 3 miles or so away.
This was a lovely place to chill and would highly recommend
Thank you

Simply spoiled by Sarah and Will. Attention to detail and Aesthetics were very tasteful.
Wood burner was ablaze on arrival, plenty of logs to spend an evening enjoying this lovely well loved abode. Cozy blankets, provided by Sarah, to keep wrapped up on a clear winter evening sitting outside enjoying the clear sky. Breakfast was plentiful, as fresh and tasty as can be and beautifully presented. We were relaxed and enjoyed the peacefulness of The steading, simply perfect. Thank you kindly
We had a wonderful stay at The Steading. Our accommodation was first class, we would thoroughly recommend The Steading and look forward to returning in the near future.
We truly enjoyed our stay at The Steading. The room was clean, cozy and well designed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. It was the perfect hideaway for a quiet Christmas in Scotland,
