"If the very cheap breakfast extra charge seems too good to be true, it's because it is too good to be true. We went downstairs after 8 AM and there was no breakfast to be seem nor any staff. This is more of an airbnb style location than a hotel. "The staff is very helpful with westerners. The guy at the front desk happily helped me navigate some stuff in Beijing. The neighborhood is nice, especially if you need to get to an embassy. There's a cool outdoor eating area a few blocks away that's worth checking out. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to a subway station, which is nice. The hotel, however, is old and not well updated. The lights in the room kept blinking on and off and the TV is very dated. I tried to get it fixed but nobody came."
