Great for a sister’s trip

We came to visit a sister in the area and it made a great centralized location to explore the area! Very clean and updated, with a great layout. Bathrooms were slightly misrepresented, but they were adequate. All in all, a great place to stay!

Cute spacious farmhouse

We had a great relaxing stay at Manoj's farmhouse. He had great communication and quick responses. I was exceptionally impressed with how quiet it was when in the back room with the door closed while teems stayed up late. Excellent views while sitting at the firepit in a cozy cove of trees.

Only two issues had was a mouse trap in the middle of the kitchen with a dead mouse in it that looked like it had been there awhile when we checked in, and then when leaving before we were even out of the house someone pulled up and looked at us like what we were even doing there and felt like we were rushed to get out of there other then that great property great hosts and would stay there again.

Great stay!

We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter and her family in Stony Plain. The location was great for us and the house was roomy. We had other family stay with us as well from Ontario and Vancouver and the host was very accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Communication with host was amazing. Quick to respond to any issues that we had, which were few. We all love being out in a country setting. My only issue would be that the love seat would not recline but we really didn’t spend a lot of time indoors. The outdoor deck and furniture allowed for being outside. Thank you for being a big part of a lovely vacation!

When we arrived, the property was full of live flies. We spent a long time dealing with them before we could eat, as they were landing all over our food. A full garbage can of food waste outside was attracting hornets and more flies. While the floors appeared clean, they were actually very dirty: our socks became soiled just walking around. The trampoline pictured in the listing had its net and net posts ripped off and its legs did not appear stable. The fridge was not fully cleaned, and while two mattresses looked clean, one had visible stains once the sheets were removed.I have attached photos of all of this.I did not feel comfortable staying with my children and left a day early. The host was not receptive to issuing even a partial refund and offered only an apology.Although the house has been thoughtfully renovated and the location is peaceful, these issues severely impacted our stay. I hope future guests find this review helpful in making an informed decision, as I would have chosen differently had I known.
