"Comfy bed. Beautiful view out to the lake. Delicious dinner (pre-booked) and breakfast. The room was spacious. There was plenty of hot water, as well as the normal amenities. Nice in-room coffee and tea service. The fan was a bonus."

"As we visited in the month of May , it was cold and we had to beg to have the heat turned on. Once it was,it was comfortable. I do not think that the rooms have seen any updating since the 1970’s…the room furniture was not in good shape. The hotel is well situated overlooking Loch Lomond and easy to get anywhere. This breakfast was great!"

"Excellent Breakfast but Dinner Menu limited. We visited in May and the lift had been out of order since July. This was totally unacceptable as the stairs were quite steep and for those carrying luggage, especially to the 4th floor, this was not good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and when we asked to be moved, they did their best to make other arrangements. Apart from that, we love Scotland and the beautiful scenery it has to offer. "
