I was travelling all through the Balkans and no place went out of their way more than Hotel Ebel in Tirana. Excellent location, great access to good and drink even on the premises connected. Lite breakfast was good, they even made me to go boxes as 2 of my 3 days I left for tours before the start of breakfast, waiting up front. Extremely thoughtful. I live in a middle income country so I understand there are infrastructure issues, etc. but not once in four days was my room cleaned, the common areas were not well kept, lots of dust, cigarette smells, spit on the elevator floor that lingered for a day, and an elevator that most of the time didn’t work. Not a great location unless you are going to the airport."
